Spectacular ocean views from this Adult only, fully equipped, furnished one bedroom suite with it’s own private entrance. Overlooking Semiahmoo Bay 180 degree vista takes in views of Mount Baker, Active Pass and all of the Gulf Islands in between. Watch the sun rise and set from your large covered private patio. Stairs lead to the beach, Promenade, with restaurants and shops, the famous White Rock and pier. Nature is at your doorstep . The property backs onto a 28 acre forest nature park, which has over 3 miles of walking trails and year round streams. We are frequently visited by Eagles, song birds, woodpeckers and other inhabitants of the nature park. Public transit just steps away. Centrally located with easy access to Vancouver, the Vancouver International airport, B.C Ferry terminals to Vancouver Island, Whistler Village and the United States border. Check-in 3PM Check-out 11AM 3 nights minimum stay.

Great views. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Communication with hosts (who live upstairs) was excellent (they even let us know they were having friends over one evening just in case we heard extra noise, which we didn’t). Welcoming snacks were appreciated. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We would definitely rent here again.

Best VRBO we ever stayed in many years. Everything is exactly as pictured. The unit is very clean and updated. So many great features plus a city stairway right down to the ocean near the bottom of this home. Right behind the home is a beautiful park/forest with 100 foot plus fir trees. Breathtaking Views and Vistas

Our stay at Graeme and Helga's was amazing. The wonderful views of the ocean, the amazing flowerbeds and the gracious charming hosts made for a memorable and luxurious vacation. Everything we could want or need was provided including eggs, milk and bread upon arrival. We felt very welcome and were provided with lots of helpful suggestions of parks to visit in the area. Watching the hummingbirds was a pure delight and the walk along the promenade is so lovely with the smell of the ocean and the great moist air. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely Seaside Accommodation

Upon arrival Helga & Graeme were there to greet us and we walked into a gorgeous suite with a fully stocked kitchen filled with all the necessities we needed after a long travelling day. Fresh produce, milk, eggs, etc, etc. were there for us to enjoy. Much thoughtful consideration was put into designing their suite. It is very well laid out, tidy, clean and so very cozy.We spent a lot of time in the suite and on the lovely ocean view deck due to my medical concerns and found it to be a beautiful area both relaxing and comfortable.We hope to have the privilege of staying there again and wish Helga & Graeme all the very best! We have lived in White Rock since 1985 and are local business people. In 2019 Helga, after 42 successful years, retired from the real estate industry. She now spends her time manicuring her garden. Since 1986 Graeme has been involved in the travel industry.

Why they chose this property

Our home backs onto a 26 acre nature park with over three miles of hiking trails and year round streams. Many different species of birds as well as wild rabbits, racoons and squirrels roam the area and frequently visit our feeders. The view is ever changing.

What makes this property unique

We love to sit and watch the sail boats in the bay or the kite surfers at play. Paddle boards are the latest rage here as well as the kayak school in the evenings. There is always something to see.
