About this property
Cabin·Indoor Pool·Sauna·Game Rm·Creek·15 Min to NP
Summary:
Step outside your everyday life and into the sound of a mountain creek.
Creekside Adventure is a 4BR/4.5BA luxury cabin on a private Smoky Mountain acre — 8 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg, 19 minutes from Dollywood, sleeps 12 comfortably. We hold a perfect 5.0 rating across 89 reviews, Airbnb Guest Favorite badge, and Top 1% of Homes designation. Guests say it every time unprompted: the photos don't do it justice. That's the standard we hold ourselves to every stay. No pets.
The Space:
The cabin is built around one of the most impressive amenity stacks in this market: a private indoor heated pool (84°F, 16 by 24 feet, with an eight-foot waterfall cascading into the deep end), a six-person hot tub on the back stone patio, and a four-person sauna. You do not have to leave the property to feel like you are on vacation — but when you do, everything the Smokies are known for is a short drive away.
Four bedrooms, each with its own en suite bath, give every adult in your group a private retreat. Two king suites anchor the main level. Upstairs, a bunk bedroom with four queen-over-queen bunks sleeps eight on its own — built for families with kids who want their own floor. A fourth king suite on the basement level rounds out the sleeping arrangements. Every bedroom has a 44-inch Roku TV with Spectrum internet, because vacation should not mean giving up comfort.
The living spaces are designed for the whole group to be together without feeling crowded. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace anchors the great room alongside a 65-inch smart TV, a leather queen pull-out sofa, and oversized seating. The kitchen is fully stocked — stainless steel appliances, a coffee and tea bar, wine glasses, a blender, a full spice rack — everything you need to cook a real family meal instead of defaulting to takeout every night. A dining table seats the group, and when the weather is right, the outdoor dining area on the back patio does too.
When the conversation turns competitive, the game room delivers. A regulation pool table, three classic arcade cabinets, an electronic pinball machine loaded with more than 100 games, and Connect 4 share the space with a 55-inch Roku TV, a pub table, and a leather couch. Nobody runs out of things to do.
Outside, the acre lot gives you room to breathe. A gas fireplace with its own 55-inch TV anchors a covered seating area on the back patio — perfect for watching football when the mountain air turns cool. The firepit ringed with Adirondack chairs is where the evenings tend to end: marshmallows, stories, and a sky that reminds you why you drove up here in the first place. Creek sounds carry through the trees. Wildlife passes through regularly. The whole scene earns the name.
Your group is eight miles from downtown Gatlinburg's restaurants, distilleries, and SkyBridge. Ten miles from the most-visited national park in the country — waterfalls, elk meadows, and ridge-top views that stop conversations cold. 19 minutes from Dollywood. Close enough to do everything; private enough to stay in and do nothing.
Check-in is fully self-directed via smart lock — your personal code arrives the morning of your arrival. Parking for up to eight vehicles on site. The entire property is private: no shared spaces, no neighbors passing through, just your group and the acre around you.
Dates at Creekside Adventure fill quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. If the calendar is open, it is worth locking in.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property and all the amenities. Your check-in will be touchless utilizing Smart Locks to access.
The Neighborhood:
Four-wheel drive or chains may be required to access the property when there is snow or a threat of snow during the winter months.
Chris and Janene hold a 4.99 overall rating across 233 reviews and a 100% response rate. If anything comes up, someone picks up. One guest wrote in February 2026: 'I have stayed at a lot of cabins in the area and this one is probably the best I have ever stayed at.' Another in March: 'The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the cabin is.' We take that as our standard.

Amazing hosts! Very clean property. The house has all the little things that you would want on a vacation. It is close to town, but it still feels like it is in the mountains. Our kids loved the arcade games, and we really enjoyed the indoor pool as well. We highly recommend this house to other guests!

It was an absolute pleasure hosting Kent and his group! They left the house in great shape, you could tell he genuinely took care of the property, and that means so much to us as hosts. He was a wonderful guest from start to finish, and we wouldn't hesitate for a second to welcome him back. Kent is exactly the kind of guest you'd be lucky to host. Hope to see you again soon, Kent!

Our family had an amazing time at Creekside! We swam every day, played pool, and enjoyed so many of the video arcade games that even my husband and I enjoyed as kids!It is quiet, secluded, and amazing. The final touches of extra blankets, hangers, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, and so much more!My girls had an amazing time in their kid room with the air hockey and ski ball also. The beds were comfortable too!I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks again for such a great stay!
The house is even more impressive in-person. The hosts have thought of every last detail to accommodate the stay and were incredibly responsive to any questions. The house provided everything we needed for our family for all ages. We would definitely stay again.
The rooms was very clean with plenty of towels and wash clothes, dishes, spices, etc. We had one issue with the locks and the host came in less then 20 minutes to fix. They even gifted a loaf of bread. The only recommendations was to have blinds or curtains for the doors for privacy.
We celebrated my son's 17th with a group of his friends and they had an absolute blast! Would recommend and would stay here again. Clean, well kept, plenty of space, great amenities for kids and teens, excellent communication with host.

Tricia was a fantastic guest and a true pleasure to host. She communicated effortlessly throughout her stay and treated the property with great care, leaving it in immaculate condition upon checkout, just as it was at check-in. It's clear she and her group were respectful, considerate guests who made the most of everything the space had to offer. We would wholeheartedly welcome Tricia back anytime and highly recommend her to any host without hesitation. Thank you for choosing us, Tricia, hope to see you again soon!

Cabin was great! Very clean and nicely stocked with kitchen needs and plenty of bath towels in addition to pool towels. Only suggestion we had was a fridge down in either game room or out on lower deck by the tv and fireplace to keep drinks handy while playing corn hole and sitting around fire. Overall great stay and great cabin.

Janene and Chris have such a wonderful property and are some of the most accommodating hosts i have seen so far! They were quick to respond and so helpful with every small detail. The place was absolutely gorgeous! Just far enough away for the peace and quiet but close enough to everything. The pool design also tied everything together! Also the adorable little welcome package with local bread to try and their own personalized coffee mug to take… how sweet! Could not recommend this place enough!! If you ever find yourself around this area, definitely try to book this place or one of there other places.. you won’t regret it!!
This house was better than the pictures. Everything in the house is great. The host is very quick to reply with anything that you need in order to make your stay the best it can be.

Our family loved staying in the cabin for our pre-Thanksgiving week. The pool, game room, and hot tub were a hit with the kids and adults alike. The location was perfect just 15 min away from town yet secluded and up in the mountains where you feel away from it all. The host was very welcoming and attentive although we had no issues at all during our stay, we could tell they would be quick to handle anything if something did arise. Parking was ample. The sauna was also a nice perk. We were thankful there was an alarm to the pool and pool doors as we were traveling with a 2 yo. Many fun memories were made!

Everything about this house deserves 5 stars! The rooms are spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect. Communication with the hosts was top-notch—prompt, helpful, and friendly. My only regret is not staying longer! The location is peaceful and ideally situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This has been, by far, the best home we've ever rented. Thank you, Chris and Janene, for your outstanding hospitality!
This is the most beautiful cabin in TN. We we're amazed at all the details that have been put into this home. Each level of the home had something for everyone to do. The kids had games to play as well as the pool, which was their most favorite. The hot tub with a fireplace and t.v. along with a sauna was my favorite. You could stay here and never leave because it has everything you need. We stayed for a week and spent quality time with family. We also enjoyed pigeon forge during the stay. It's close to the island and parkway. I highly recommend this cabin and the owners we're so kind and helpful as well as quick to respond. You won't be dissapointed.

About the host
Hosted by Chris Melancon
Born and raised in the heart of Louisiana, the deep South, I embody the warmth and hospitality that our region is known for. Hosting is in my blood; it’s a cherished tradition that we Southerners take pride in. From a young age, I learned the art of making guests feel welcome and at home, a skill that comes naturally to me.
I find joy in bringing smiles to people’s faces, whether through a shared meal, a heartfelt conversation, or simply offering a helping hand. Life in Louisiana has taught me to appreciate the simple things – the beauty of a sunset, the comfort of a home-cooked meal, and the laughter of loved ones. I brought all those skills with me up to East Tennessee back in 1995.
In everything I do, I strive to create an atmosphere of warmth and happiness, ensuring that everyone around me feels valued and cared for. Hosting isn’t just something I do; it’s a part of who I am.
Why they chose this property
Creekside Adventure sits on a beautiful semi secluded one-acre lot with a creek flowing behind the property. My favorite thing is sipping coffee on the porch swing in the early morning watching and listening to the wildlife start their day.
What makes this property unique
This cabin is more than just a place to stay; it’s a retreat where memories are made. Perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, it offers a unique blend of tranquility and excitement that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated.
