What a lovely place to stay — well kept, beautiful interior and exterior, clean, great host communication, such gorgeous views of sunsets over sprawling fields of green and stunning sunrises as well, peaceful, relaxing, and all-around great choice!
We really enjoyed our stay at the farm! Jamie was extremely clear and communicative. Check-in was straightforward and easy, and the property was charming and clean. We loved arriving and hearing the sounds of roosters and baby goats!
This was a wonderful property with a ton of outdoor space for our little kids to run and play. The host was easy to communicate with and it was in a great neighborhood. We will definitely look this place up if we return to the area again.
We were in town for my daughter’s graduation from Delaware and absolutely loved this place. It’s convenient to get in and out of Newark while being out in the country. I loved having our morning coffee on the deck watching the horses.
We had an amazing stay and this location was exactly what we needed. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The property owner was very accommodating and promptly awnsered all our questions. The patio was a wonderful area to relax and enjoy the view.
This home is really great! Such a beautiful property. Everything was really well done. Comfy beds. Spacious living area. Well appointed kitchen with coffee bar. Check in/out could not have been easier. Homeowner was always quick to respond to me. We had a really fun weekend and we can’t wait to return!
The property was great. We had everything we needed and the owner was so accomadating and met all our needs. She took great care in her home, and all the nice touches were truly appreciated. I know we will definitely look them up again! This house was a winner;)
This house was the perfect place to spend Christmas with my family. We visited Longwood gardens, which was an easy drive. It’s a great location - very peaceful, but not too far away from restaurants or grocery stores. It was so cozy and in perfect condition. My niece and nephew were amazed by the horses next door!
Very nice stay. The place is beautiful, calm, relaxing. The house has been recently renovated and everything was super clean. A lot of nice details -the board games were a hit with the kids!
It’s a new listing, so maybe a couple of minor details they need to smooth out, but 100% recommend. I booked when there were still no reviews, which I never do, and now I’m glad I did.
Beautiful little farm-et above stables- fully stocked coffee bar was awesome! Complimentary waters and biscottis, chocolates. So charming and master bed was comfortable! A short drive to grocery store and the college area. Took a drive out to Amish country and ate at shady maple smorgasbord and spent a day in downtown Philly Would stay again if we return!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
I booked this property with hopes to see all the farm animals mentioned because my son loves them so much. Unfortunately, they were locked in the barn the entire time we were there which was quite disappointing since we could hear them throughout our stay but were unable to see them. Luckily the neighbors had beautiful horses they had out during the day which we thoroughly enjoyed watching. We also were able to find another nearby farm that did have lots of farm animals for my son to see at Milburn Orchards. The property itself was beautiful! The inside needed to be vacuumed upon arrival and one of the beds appeared to be covered in animal hair but other than that it was very nice.
We stayed with our adult children. The home was clean, well appointed and the setting was serene. You are close to everything but feel like you’re out in the country. We especially liked the coffee bar and the deck overlooking the fields with horses. We thought having 1 bathroom between the 4 of us was going to be an issue but it wasn’t at all. The host responded immediately to all messages. I would definitely stay here again.
We were looking for a place close to the University of Delaware but not too close. It was about a 10 minute easy ride to the campus. The location of the property was in a wonderfully quiet area surrounded by farmland. The home was extremely clean and recently updated. The owners did a fantastic job decorating which included a stocked coffee/Hot chocolate bar!
We would recommend to other parents who might be traveling from out of state and want a quit place stay. We wish we had more time to stay so we could have enjoyed the outdoor patio more!
We had an absolutely wonderful 6 day stay at this beautiful property! The space was perfect for our family, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing time together. The coffee bar inside was great and such a nice addition. We loved using the firepit, and BBQ! They also have a blackstone grill! It really made outdoor cooking and hanging so enjoyable. The views were breathtaking, with peaceful landscapes and even horses in the distance, which made our experience even more special. I have family that lives 10 minutes away and they were very impressed by the property also. Our stay truly felt like a retreat, and we would absolutely stay here again. My family kept telling me good job for finding the listing! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and family-friendly escape! Our host Jamie was great and very communicative and accommodating.
