Location to SLC and shopping and canyon. All great. The facility was awesome. Just note, if you want to use the kitchen it is small but workable. Just bring any utensils you might need other than table ware. You will be happy to have it. This would not stop me from renting again, just good to know.
We are SLC locals and love to spend our time in the mountains. We do a few staycations up the canyon every year. This place comfortably for our group. The bathroom situation is a little funky, but was not problem for our group. The location is primo!! Some of our group took the shuttle service to bike Crest and we all went up to Brighton to mountain bike the easy rider trail. Thanks for having us.
Stayed here for a long weekend with friends to go skiing/boarding and couldn’t have booked a better house. The view was gorgeous, beds were comfortable, the entertainment/living room was perfect for a large group (the pictures don’t do it justice), the hosts were very responsive if we needed anything, and it was located close to the mountains. It has some unique aspects to it and the kitchen is a bit small, but overall it was an awesome rental.
Property was as advertised in the photos. Definitely need 4wd to get to the property in the winter. Great response and communication - we had a couple issues that were resolved very quickly Amazing location. Beautiful glass windows with awesome views. Great for the guys trip.
What a beautiful property with an interesting history!
This looks to be an old cabin that was eventually turned in to a lodge and restaurant. It is right on a small river as the photos show. One side of the "lodge" is all glass, with beautiful views. It's really unbelievable.
It looks like much of the open space lodge was turned into bedrooms. Fireplaces are great, beds are great.
Once can certainly pick on the kitchen and/or bathrooms. Kitchen is on the smaller size and older. So if you plan to cook up a feast here this place may not be for you. But that is not what this lodge is about.
It is about the grandeur of living in nature, amongst bustling trees, with the sound of a busy river running right by and as you look up you stare in to the beautiful mountains or on a clear night a starry sky.
My friends and I stayed at this wonderful home for a weekend when visiting SLC. The home was clean and enjoyed the jacuzzi and river view. Had issues with getting the fireplace started so the property manager sent a maintenance guy over pretty quickly to get it activated. Overall it was a good place in a good location to stay when skiing/snowboarding at Brighton
