Summary:
Hillwood Hideaway is a charming townhome just 15 minutes from Downtown Nashville and Music Row. Take a short Uber ride into town and explore the numerous local restaurants, breweries, museums, cafes, and more!

The Space:
The living room greets you with comfortable seating gathered around a Smart TV (Netflix, Disney +, ESPN, etc.). Right outside the French doors from the living room takes you to the balcony with patio seating. Dine and wine out here on sunny days!

The kitchen is equipped for homemade meals from a Keurig coffee maker, blender, electric stovetop, to a toaster! If you don't feel like cooking at home, we recommend checking out the local restaurants in Nashville! Indulge in classic Nashville hot chicken sandwiches at Hattie B's or try the famous dry rub ribs at Peg Leg Porker.

The master bedroom has a King bed, balcony access, and an en suite bathroom. The remaining 2 bedrooms have a Full bed. The 2nd full bathroom has dual sinks and a shower/tub combo.

There is a washer and dryer available for your use.

There are 2 assigned spots provided. The lot is shared with several commercial businesses.

Property was slightly difficult to find, especially when we had to check in at night, would recommend instructions on getting to the property.Check in almost had me worried, I tried contacting twice and had no reply up until 2 days before I stayed, but after communication was 5/5 amazing.The property itself was beautiful, clean and a great quiet area to get some rest in, and I love how the 2 rooms had portable A/Cs for the muggy Tennessee temperature. Would absolutely stay there again

I had such a great stay at this vrbo during my trip to Nashville. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—super close to all the downtown hotspots but still quiet enough to relax after a long day. Check in was very smooth and the host was excellent at responding in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to anyone staying in the are.

The property was perfect for us. With the exception of the stairs, I was in a wheelchair so it was difficult. Every question I had for the host was answered promptly, and we were granted a later checkout, which helps us immensely. I would definitely stay here again if it didn’t have the stairs

Birthday party

We stayed in the upstairs unit. The stairs and deck could use a little TLC. The listing states that it sleeps 8. It came with a queen size air mattress that you plugged into the wall to inflate. Which was great! It also had a twin size air mattress that we couldn’t use because it had a small hole in it. It would’ve been nice to be able to use it so no one had to sleep on the couch. Other than that the property was very clean and nice.

Weekend stay

Overall it was great! It was a little tricky find and get into the property but once we got past that it was fun. The parking was a little inconvenient but we figured out how to make it work for 3 cars. It’s in a convenient spot so that helped. Great stay!

TLC

This property is need of TLC. The garage roof was torn and a hole had rotted through it. Repairs were done to the outside steps and Nails Are Sticking Out. The beds are broken down and need replacing. The front door is hard to open and close. The couch smells. the overall property needs to be cleaned, trash laying around and weeds. And the garbage was piled up what looked like for a couple weeks. The deck needed to be re-stained.

21st birthday bash

The property was great we loved the porch area it was nice to sit out there at night and enjoy a few drinks and just talk as friends. It was really easy to uber around town or get to down town to the bars. Everything was perfect for a wonderful birthday weekend to celebrate my 21st with my closest friends

Birthday Trip - Great Stay

The stay was affordable and lots of privacy. Location was near target if anything was needed and close enough to Uber to downtown bars. Communication was quick and effective with the management company, answering my questions immediately. Only cleanliness concern was in the outdoor garbage area, it looked like a previous tenant had left a mess behind but to no fault of the management team. It did not impact our stay whatsoever and they responded quickly when we notified them.

This is a condo that is up stairs and can be a little difficult to find.

There is alot is plenty of restaurants and grocery with in walking distance.

Excellent trip to Nashville

My friends and I were traveling to Nashville for the UT game and this place was perfect for us. It was located 15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go plus it was across the street from Target. Check in and out was easy and I was even able to add my dog to the booking the week of travel. There was a quick response and clear directions. 10/10 recommend!

Cozy property

Safe location with convenient, free parking. Very comfortable beds and good layout off the property. A lot of thought has been put into making people comfortable. It was an upstairs apartment and on the hottest days of summer, it was a little hotter than I like. I prefer it super cool. I was able to communicate easily with the property manager.

Not terrible but needs work

Was difficult to find at night. Inside was fairly clean and looked like the pictures. 2 of the 3 beds were not comfortable. The car parking area had giant holes in the roof with boards hanging down and we only parked in the car port half way hoping nothing fell onthe cars.The wind blew off a big rubber matting and we reported it but nobody came to fix it. The outdoor patio was nice but the carpet under neath was deterated so bad that it brought in the materials inside. This place could be nice just needs some work. nibuunderneathour cars. Super clean

We booked this place last minute on the road to TN. It wasn’t exactly what we expected as far as being an apartment tucked back between businesses, and the stairs you climb to get to it. However, it was really clean and spacious enough for what we needed. The management was helpful in allowing us to get in early and very attentive to questions and issues. It was about 20 min from all the activities we did ( Opry, Broadway, Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman). For us, that wasn’t too bad. There’s a Target you can walk to if needed! 😊

Thanksgiving in Nashville

On the good side, the place was clean, spacious, high end appliances, jack-n-jill bathroom convenient for guest bedrooms. On the down side, the bar stools are not useable - very wobbly and as there was no table and chairs, had to eat Thanksgiving dinner on our laps. One of the chairs in the living room had a leg not attached right - we fixed that Had to share Samsung remote between Master BR and Living Room. Would recommend repair or replacing the bar stools - have a small table and chairs for games or dinner, have proper remotes.

Absolutely horrible

This was easily the worst VRBO experience I have ever endured. There was zero communication about check in procedures and location specifics. The apartment is literally connected to an animal hospital. AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL!! We parked under a dilapidated parking cover- the ceiling was literally falling in and in danger of falling onto the car. The stairs to the apartment were rickety and dangerous. Once inside, one of the bedrooms was sagging so badly that the drawers on the bedside table wouldn’t stay closed!! It was too late at night to seek other accommodations so we had to sleep there and the beds were like sleeping on a carpeted floor with pillows that felt like folded blankets. There were dogs barking and dumpsters slamming all night and neither of us slept at all. It was truly horrible!! Thankfully we had family to stay with for the remaining 2 nights. I contacted the management company the morning after our horrible night asking for a full refund and so far, no response. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!

A place to sleep and that’s it!

They drove by just to check out the location before we were able to check in. I contacted management because the carport had holes it and was falling in. At first, they said they knew nothing about it and told me to send pictures. After I sent pictures, they said they were aware of the situation and it wouldn’t affect our car. We parked in the other spot and made it work. We went back later to check in and found the deck area was not at all what it pictured on the website. There was not a couch up there., there were cushions in a deck box, but nothing to put them on The carpet underneath the plastic chairs on the deck was all torn up. We planned on utilizing the deck to hang out after the half marathon, but we were unable to do that. I requested a partial refund and they told me they do not give refunds at all. If you’re at all looking for a place to sit outside, this is not the place to stay. The outside is dirty and has lots of weeds. The master bed was OK. The other two were very uncomfortable. It was a place to stay and that’s all.The first picture is of what’s advertised the second picture is what you actually getI only put down one stars because I was not able to leave them blank

No workable oven/stove

Someone showed up shortly after we arrived to repair the oven/stove. We had no idea that it was inoperable. He was unable to resolve the issue and we never saw him or heard from him or the owner during our stay. We had arrived with a cooler full of food to cook for our family in Nashville. The fellow was able to fix the master bathroom sink which was also inoperable. It has now been seven days and I have yet to hear from this owner about the oven/stove. Please beware that if you book this unit and have an issue, you will likely not hear from the owner.

Spring Break 2022

The property was not very clean. They had not vacuumed the property. I found dead bugs in the carpet. I suggest they keep a vacuum on property. Also when we arrived the primary bathroom toilet paper holder was broken. The mattresses are a nightmare. With all of these issues we contacted management. I would not suggest this property for a group larger than 4 with small children or any one who is elderly due to the stairs you have to climb. The condo is small. Also the parking situation is not that great. You are behind a business and there are patrons parking and coming in and out. This is a good place for a couple but would not suggest for a family. I have to say I have had great success with VRBO but this property did not meet the standards that I am used to in a property.

First impression was the concern of the busted carport. We did not park underneath it due to concern of it collapsing. There were stains in the carpet of the bedrooms and some rooms had bugs coming in from the windows.

The parking area for our unit was covered and the cover was falling in. They had repaired some of the deck but there was a board that was broken right in front of the door. There were mouse dropping under the sink and in the cabinets. The second bathroom tub would not drain. They said they were sending someone to fix it but it was not fixed we all had to use to master bath. The curtain rod in the master bedroom had been ripped almost off of the wall and was not repaired. The "dumpsters" were right under the deck and had not been emptied for some time. In fact there was no room left for any of our trash as other people were already putting trash bags on the ground. I paid way to much for this unit.
