Maple House

Maple House is a spacious 2-bedroom maisonette that sleeps 6 plus a baby/toddler, just 20-minutes’ drive south of Cape Town. It is the largest of three accommodations on this residential property (the others being Maple Cottage and Maple Studio).

Maple House cannot fail to impress, with its large rooms, tasteful décor and statement artworks. Each bedroom is enormous; one has a king-size bed, a chaise longue and 2 bunk beds and the other has a queen-size bed and a cot/child’s bed fit for royalty.

The large kitchen, with plenty of counter space, may be more functional than beautiful, but is perfect for cooking for the whole family. It is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser, oven and ceramic hob and everything needed for a self-catering stay.

Lovely location and great home

Although our overall stay was quite pleasant and the house was in a great location and had all the facilities, the downside was the check in details were not sent to me prior to arrival and this situation was very stressful, as we didn't even have internet connectionThe host also didn't even provide tea, coffee, sugar, pool towels. No details for wifi or suggestions on restaurants and how to get to/from accommodation, and I had to follow up on all of this. This could be improved to create a more welcoming and pleasant stay for the guests.
