About this property

Luxury 3 Br / 2.5 Ba + Private Patio on one of Boston's Most Desirable Streets

Voted as one of the most successful short-term rental properties in Boston by the Huffington Post, this is a unique opportunity to stay in a three floor luxury condo located directly overlooking Union Park in Boston's trendy South End.

This spacious 2,500 Sq. Ft. Victorian brownstone offers dramatic living space and is located on one of the most desirable streets in all of Boston, and is just steps away from some of the most popular restaurants, urban boutiques, emerging art galleries, theaters and all adjacent neighborhoods; this location gives visitors easy walking access to all Boston has to offer.

The unit offers a dramatic and spacious master bedroom suite on the top floor which spans the entire parlor level and features 14' ceilings, a California King size bed, ensuite bathroom with marble tile steam shower, walk-in closet and its own living room area with pool table and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the fountains on Union Park. The middle level is comprised of 2 oversized bedrooms which share a full bath. First bedroom has a California King w/ Tempur-Pedic mattress and electronic adjustable bed frame, the second has a queen bed and queen pullout sofa bed with memory foam mattress and sleeps two comfortably as well as a 50 inch plasma TV with cable and XBOX for gaming. Custom bathroom on second floor has a whirlpool soaking tub with rain head shower and Carrera marble tile throughout.

On the lower floor you will find an open floor plan with a large living area featuring a high-end home theatre system with 7-speaker surround sound recessed into the ceiling and 55" flat screen HDTV. In addition, a full custom chef's kitchen and large dining table which seats 8 people comfortably. The kitchen has professional grade stainless appliances, including a 48-inch professional Viking gas range with 6 burners, granite countertops with 4 barstools, and all the comforts of home, i.e. coffee maker, microwave, electric teapot, and toaster. A full sized front-load washer & dryer is conveniently located off kitchen along with a powder room.

This unit offers a unique blend and comfort of modern urban design within a historic Victorian era building. You will find exposed brick, hardwood floors and SONOS HiFi wireless audio throughout the house! High-speed wireless internet and premium cable package with HBO, SHO, and all other movie channels that Comcast has to offer are included. There is no parking with the unit. I can help you secure parking if needed.

You will have access to our outdoor private patio, an urban oasis, featuring a sectional sofa and seating with a gas grill. Great for entertaining. We consider this one of our favorite spots! Union Park is also a stooping neighborhood, so we like to "stoop" on the front steps too overlooking the park! Two adult bikes with helmets available for your use.

This unit has it all and will offer you an experience not available in any hotel as you will enjoy living in the South End neighborhood.

Getting Around - The Orange Line Back Bay stop of the "T" and AMTRAK is just a few minutes walk from our home, and there are multiple MBTA bus stops for various lines very nearby (silver line and#43). There is also a Hubway bike rental station a block from our place, too. This is a great way to see the city!

Parking Options -

On Street - Metered parking is available throughout the neighborhood which runs from 8:00am - 8:00pm then becomes free until 8:00am the next day.

Parking Garages - several available within walking distance in the neighborhood.

If you are arriving from the airport, it will cost you approximately $25. You can also take the Silver Line (MBTA) to South Station which is free, then transfer to Silver Line which heads into the South End.

Felt like a local!
We had a wonderful visit to Boston and loved this brownstone. The location is in a quiet south end neighborhood but with happening restaurants and bars a short stroll away. Our family of five was very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. The accommodation was clean and very attractive and our host, Stacy, was extremely gracious and helpful. We felt like we “lived” like Bostonians for the week- which was definitely the good life!

My husband and I are raising our two boys in Boston. Both of us work from home which affords us to spend quality time with our children. We love to travel, cook, exercise, play squash and love spending time at our home with friends and family. Stooping is one of our favorite activities...you will soon know why!

Why they chose this property

In my opinion, the South End is the most beautiful neighborhood in Boston, which is why it is the most desirable area in the real estate market. It really does have a neighborhood feel with the best restaurants, parks/playgrounds (including a dog park), boutiques, coffee shops, theaters, grocery store, wine and cheese shop, and art galleries, all within a stone's throw away! The South End is centrally located, making it easy access to all of Boston, which really is a walkable city.
