We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grace house. It is quiet, spacious, super clean and has all amenities combined with a lot of charm.
Our highlight was seeing some baby foxes with their mother on the field. Kids absolutely loved the stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in East Meredith. The pasture adjoining the property with cows was a bonus. Only negative is on VRBO whose messaging system is broken, they know it and haven't fixed it.
We were visiting Cooperstown, NY and decided to rent this home..it took us about 45 minutes but it was in a great area. Very clean and had everything we needed to have an amazing visit.
We loved everything about this house and property! Comfy beds, beautiful furnishings, well-stocked kitchen-everything we needed plus a lot more.
Because we were there for a baseball tournament at All Star Village, we drove 20 minutes each way through beautiful, scenic country.
If we ever return to the area, we would love to stay here again.
Thank you Grace and Michael.
This was a fantastic house so well equipped with utensils and herbs ,spices ,teas etc very warm feeling nice blankets on the sofas beautiful scenery.Grace and her brother Michael very helpful would recommend it 100%
House was clean and cozy. Was equipped with plenty of towels, which I appreciated and a washing machine and dryer. My fav were the cows - lots of them!! Loved my stay. Michael was pleasant to deal with as well when I arrived and had a couple of questions.
What an awesome house! We loved the character and charm of this house, not to mention that it had plenty of bedrooms and dining space, and two bathrooms. It was beautiful outside as well, and my daughter even took a picture out the window one morning and marveled that she got to wake up to such a view. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would definitely stay again!

Nice place for a weekend away
We stayed for a long weekend in early autumn and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was easy driving distance to Cooperstown (and a stop at Fly Creek for cider and donuts) for a day trip and Delhi for any needed supplies or something to eat. The house was much larger than we expected but it's a nice property, very quiet, well-appointed and comfy--a tastefully unique cross between old school farmhouse construction and modern technology (the on-demand hot water system is pretty sweet). We would definitely stay here again.
We were there to watch our sons play baseball at the dreams park in Cooperstown. It was about a 40 minute drive, but not a hard drive once you do it a couple times. House was very clean and well kept. Everything you could ask for in the house to enjoy a stay. Beautiful farm country, very friendly neighbors. It was hot when we were there and the house has no AC, but has plenty of fans and were given very good instructions on how to keep it as cool as possible. Overall a very good stay!

We had a lovely time at Grace House. Very comfortable and peaceful.
Thank you for sharing Grace house with us. The house has so many amenities. We were there for a tournament at All Star Village. The mobile service is a little spotty and it’s about a 25 to 30 minute drive to All-Star village, but it is lovely being out
Grace's upstate NY house is comfortable, commodious and very enjoyable. It is the best equipped house I have rented (among many), with lots of room, kitchen equipment, etc, all in great shape and easy to use. Four adults were super comfy in the house. Communication with Grace was also easy and effective.
Excellent remote country home. You will totally disconnect from reality in this amazing country estate. The inability to get cell phone service was a delight and brought me to a serene relaxation I haven’t felt for years. Amazing!

Awesome!
This place is great - like walking back into time. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place. 4 bedrooms, laundry so you don't have to pack as much, great yard complete with cows and fireflies!! 20 minutes from all star village and the town of oneonta. Michael was highly responsive. When you go - you MUST eat at Sal's!

Beautiful, peaceful country home!!!
We had a wonderful stay at this wonderful home. It is very quiet, you can watch the cows in the field on the hill, listen to the stream up the road, have a fire outside, and sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs. They have a table on the front porch to enjoy breakfast as well. There is one bathroom on the lower level with the four bedrooms on the second floor. We were there for the All-Star village tournament, which is about 25 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!!!

Peaceful and Serene
We had such a wonderful stay at Grace House. After an action packed and exciting day in Cooperstown, we were able to come home to unwind on the front porch. Michael was so nice, checking in on us and making sure everything was perfect. The house was very clean, well equipped with anything we needed and the beds were very comfy, too! We had a campfire and really enjoyed the front porch every morning and every night. The cows were great! We got to watch them move across the street. Very curious of newcomers and so peaceful to watch. We loved staying at this beautiful home and would definitely recommend! Thank you for a memorable time and for being such gracious hosts!

Comfy and spacious
The house is fully stocked. The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The washer and dryer are top shelf.
Mike (overseer) is very helpful and a real "card".
The previous review critiquing the poor internet connection was unfair or outdated. I'm a wifi junkie and the connection (at least downstairs) was more than sufficient (decent mbps speed).
Just make sure that the door adjacent to the front door is opened because that's the staircase to the upper bedrooms (didn't realize that until day #2 - DUH!!).
Overall, the place is very comfortable, accomodating and a real bargain.
Highly recommend if you intend to stay in the vicinity!
We stayed a month in this lovely country farm home and felt like we were actually living there after that long time. It was great. Most all amenities and then some that we could need. Lots of beautiful antique furniture and dishes which we enjoyed. The location is great being close to Oneonta and Delhi as well as many hiking trails such as the 40 mile + long Catskills Railroad bed trail, which we did parts of on 3 different days. We also did the bicycle rail ride in Cooperstown which was novel and a blast. Local history abounds with the Frisbee House just outside Delhi and the Hanford Mill tour which was a highlight of our trip. We saw deer close to the house daily and cows often. Michael, the caretaker was kind and very helpful. Thank you Grace and Michael for opening such a lovely family home to us.
If you're looking for quiet and relaxing, then Grace's House is for you. The whole place is gorgeous from the way the inside is decorated, to the special little touches you will find walking around in the yard using vintage pieces.
Sitting on the amazing porch in the morning, listening to the birds, watching the chipmunk and looking across the road with the pasture was so relaxing.
The house is immaculate, with plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen and a gas grill outside. My nephew from Alabama almost backed out when he heard there wasn't any AC. With the windows open and the fans running we all were fine and actually put light jackets on when we went outside after sunset. Usually when we go out of town there is a least one person that didn't have a good nights sleep because of the bed. Not this time though, all of the beds were very comfortable. We went to the Baseball Hall of Fame and visited with family in the area. While traveling back and forth we took as many of the back roads as could to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Staying at this charming farmhouse added so much more to our trip than any of us expected and I would love to stay at Grace's House again.
