This quaint vacation home is located in the Village of Watkins Glen...home to the Watkins Glen State Park Gorge, Wine Trails, Waterfalls, Seneca Lake, and Watkins Glen International Speedway. The home features all the conveniences of home with living room with smart-tv with cable and Wifi, Dining Area, open kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, air conditioning and utensils. Washer & Dryer for your use. 1 Bedroom with a Queen bed, 1 Bedroom off living room and need to walk through to get to sun room)with Trundle Daybed (sleeps 2), Pull-Out Sofa(Double) in Living Room and 1 Full Bathroom. The enclosed sun room has a small couch/futon and space for additional relaxation. Outside deck with gas grill. Rental is located in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The house was as described. It was easy to find. The kitchen had lots of supplies. We didn’t spend too much time at the house but while we were there, it was comfortable. And the location was great!

Trip to watch my son Race at The Glen

great apartment but unresponsive host/uncleaned apartment

Loved the apartment and it was exactly like the pictures. WiFi was great and kitchen/grill were well equipped. Prior to arriving the host was unresponsive via VRBO messaging (we requested early check-in and she said to contact day before, then didn’t respond). It didn’t seem like the apartment was cleaned when we arrived, and the host said she would come herself to clean and also reschedule the cleaners. From what we saw the cleaners never came, and we were refunded the cleaning fee. The apartment was walking distance from Watkins Glen and close to everything we needed/wanted to do.

Great Location & Better Than Expected Accommodations

The pictures don't do this place justice. This is a very nice vacation property, very close to downtown Watkins Glen and centrally located for easy access to many Finger Lakes destinations. And yes, it is a VERY quiet residential street located probably a quarter mile as the crow flies from the shore of Seneca Lake. The lake can be seen, just barely, through the trees. The view is probably unobstructed during the winter. Previous reviews regarding cleanliness and the WiFi are unfounded as far as we could tell. Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. As for the WiFi, it might not be suitable for gaming, but it was perfectly adequate for working including video calls and access to remote network resources. At no time did we find it lacking. The only issue we found, that others have reported as well, is the A/C. There is one window unit in the living room which has difficulty keeping up in the terrible heat of this summer. There are several box fans and ceiling fans around the property which do help to move the cooler air around but the place could benefit from either a more powerful A/C in the living room or, better yet, separate window units in the main bedroom and the sun room. Overall, we would recommend this property.

Easy contact with owners of property. Quiet area to relax. Easy clean up when you leave. My husband and I, our 2 children who are 7 and 2 and we could easily figure out what we needed to do to make sure the stay was safe for them. I recommend a child gate because of the stair case that's there if you have smaller children. I had a broken ankle but was able to relax and stay in the house comfortably.

Memorable stay

It was top notch. The house had everything we needed, thoughtfully supplied, clean, quiet street and close to everything we wanted to do . Loved the decor, quality furniture, lamps, classic items and pictures that made it inviting. Air conditioner/heater was awesome! So easy to get the temperature and air flow just right. We would rent again if we needed to be in the area. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Wonderful stay again.

Great place to stay. We’ve stayed here several times. There was an issue with the dishwasher that we were advised of prior to our arrival. Might be time to consider replacing the mattresses on the beds. It is indeed a lovely quiet neighborhood.

We only stayed 2 nights which wasn't long enough. Beautiful area, many wineries, breweries, and distilleries to visit and the lake is beautiful. The house is conveniently located close to town and was clean.

We really liked the place! Great location, very clean and well equipped! This was our first trip to Lake Seneca and we will definitely be back! The only cons I have is that the remote control to the TV was a little wonky and hard to figure out and the mattresses were not in the best shape. I would definitely return if the mattresses were replaced! Thank you for a great day!

Girls Weekend

We went as a girl's trip. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed to cook. Grill worked well. It was nice having linens and towels provided. Front door gave us a little bit of trouble lol but after 3 of us girls tried it worked. We went hiking during our time and I actually had a surprise engagement that my girlfriends planned. It was the best trip. Would defiantly stay there again.

Great location in Watkins Glen. A quick car ride to downtown and the State Park. Beautiful scenic views of many of the falls. Wish we could have stayed longer to take in more of the sites. We will make a return trip in the future.
