A wonderful relaxing 2.5 days

Our stay in the beautiful schoolhouse in New Haven, MO was totally worth it! So wonderfully built and accommodated and the property was pristine to pull up to. It was like you entered a magazine spread being photographed for the world to see. Truly impeccable. The lights, the flooring, the counters, the stairs, the ceilings, truly someone knew what they were doing. The two master bedrooms with king size beds and private bathrooms within were a delight. Then the two shower heads and pressure in the shower were awesome. The scenery outside, watching the farmers bale hay the days we were there was fun. The sunrise Monday morning was exquisite. Sunday morning watching a skunk play in the grass in the field, listening to the woodpecker while the turkeys gobbled in the nearby woods, well that was coffee time at the back patio table perfect. The property was completely comfy and delightful for our three some of ladies, just kicking back. We would stay again, and we will tell everyone about it! We took in New Haven, Washington, and Hermann, MO while staying at this house. Easy and nearby, really pretty area of Missouri.

What makes this property unique

Yeates Schoolhouse was restored using as much of the original material as possible; from the stones in the foundation, to the interior wooden walls and trim. The hardwood floors were cut and milled from hickory trees we harvested right here on our farm. Other material was utilized from a century old barn from the Kessler Farm in Augusta, MO. We also used materials that were salvaged from buildings built in the late 1800s in downtown New Haven, MO. Our authentic slate chalkboard once hung in an 1800's school in Augusta, MO.

While experiencing this old world atmosphere, guests will enjoy modern day amenities.
*The second level includes two king master suites, each with their own walk-in tile showers and dual showerheads. Windows in the shower overlook the Missouri RIver Valley. Each bedroom has its own climate control to accommodate guest preferences.
*Our full kitchen includes locally made custom cabinetry and a hand made table from century old barnwood material.
*The living area includes comfortable seating with a Smart TV and wifi capabilities.
*The in house laudry room makes extended stays extremely convenient.
*The stamped concrete patio provides an outdoor space where guests can enjoy scenic views and spectacular sunsets only found in the country.

Our Schoolhouse is located a short 15 minute drive from Hermann, MO. Guests can also enjoy local attractions such as Robller Winery, Pinckney Bend Distillery, Triple 3 Vineyard and McKelvey Vineyards. Guests can also travel 15 minutes to the east and experience all that Washington, MO has to offer.
