A private, quiet getaway was just what we needed! I really appreciated the beautiful views and solace that surrounded the home. The back and front yard was stunning and we had so many hummingbirds and crows visit. Inside was clean, chic, and mid-century modern. And the beds? SO COMFY!We will be back! Without a doubt. If you want to use the spa, be sure to inquire about pricing 48 hours before your reservation. It’s absolutely worth the additional charge.

The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in!! We loved everything. The outdoor living space and pool were perfect for the relaxing getaway we were looking for. Th kitchen had every utensil, pan, etc you could need. Beds were comfy. An adorable, clean, well kept up home, and we look forward to coming back again. The location was perfect for us too. Close to the hiking trail and short drive to downtown PS.
View from the pool.

The FILL VALVE in the toilet ( master bedroom) appeared aged and did not work properly. The toilet would take literally over 30 min to refill before next soft flush. There were literally four remotes to turn on the living room television with no instructions watch basic TV or use of the installed APPS ( NETFLIX ,PRIME ,ECT).There were no instructions out side how to operate pool ( lights , jacuzzi) unless you investigate to find small switch surrounded by shrubs.Otherwise now that I know all the quirks to the house it was a very pleasant stay for two people where outside noise is highly warned and posted.

Loved it......

This is not a luxe property...but...it was perfectly clean, great location and the perfect amount of space for us (a married couple). The pool and backyard are great and private. We were in town to play golf and see friends. Great location and we would absolutely rent this house again.

Charming desert hideaway

We love the nest and plan to be back. A couple things could be improved: more comfortable couch, the shower spray was too powerful and hurts the skin—especially in the master bath—so that needs to be remedied. Otherwise all is good.

Very Comfortable Stay

The house very nice and comfortable. The backyard and outdoor spaces are a good size, slightly bigger than I assumed from the photos. While the inside is not huge, none of the rooms felt small or cramped. The only small item was the sink in the master bath that sits low, but it fits the character and wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing outdoor area

Our stay was great! The back yard was absolutely amazing. Lots of birds! The sectional outdoor patio couch was so comfortable! Only issue was the bathroom drainage. Tub and shower did not drain well. But besides that little issue, all was great!

Perfect Get Away!

Property was better than the pictures. Gardens are beautiful. It was a perfect get away for our family of 4 adults. Central location and easy to get to other attractions by car. We loved the pool but very conscious of the noise by-laws. Kitchen well stocked and in working order. Only issue was the check in door code did not work but proper manager fixed the problem immediately. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect host

This house and hosts deiiver on their description. It's a lovely two bedroom, with comfortable beds, a great pool and nice little yard. We had a car, but it was only a mile from down town, so a nice walk during the mild, december weather. The host communicated clearly and regularly. Although the house was problem free, I am positive that if there were issues, they would have been resolved quickly. I can't wait to go back to Palm Springs so I can rent this house again.

Noise ordinance was stressful but Perfect property

We loved this property and surrounding area. The noise rules and signs posted every few feet was stressful. If this property was in another neighborhood we would book again, it had everything you would want in a getaway. Since we could not relax while our kids enjoyed the pool, concerned they were being too loud we will unfortunately not return to this property or Palm Springs.

We are glad that you loved the property, and it is unfortunate that the City of Palm Springs "Good Neighbor" rules impacted your enjoyment. These rules are in place throughout Palm Springs, as the city feels that this is the necessary to ensure that those staying in any of the beautiful residential neighborhoods are able to enjoy the peace, quiet and safety that Palm Springs is known for.

The Nest is a Good Spot.

The backyard was amazing. We really enjoyed it. Small issue was the sofa in the living room was passed its prime. It sunk to the floor and when you are over 6ft it was uncomfortable. Small thing. We really appreciated the notebook with all the important information in one place. There were some great restaurant recommendations that we took advantage of. Really great stuff. We would certainly stay there again.

Great pool property!

This was a great house near downtown Palm Springs. All the amenities were provided. And i absolutely loved the pool and fire feature in the yard. Downside: # of cars allowed and strict noise ordinance. Had a 80th birthday lunch for my mom with a few of her friends who had to park at a local pizza place and walk to the property in 95° weather. And couldn't have any music, even played lowly, outside. Otherwise, completely enjoyed my stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing location and the house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the house was set up to perfection. Our own private paradise

We loved The Nest. So pristine and private. It had every amenity and thoughtful touch such as fresh ground coffee, firepit and huge bedrooms. The spa wasn't working well, however numerous attempts to address the issue were made. The view of the mountains wasn't quite as shown in the listing since the neighbors trees have grown since the pictures were taken. We will return. We loved it.

This house has potential but we encountered a few issues that affected our ability to enjoy our stay. The front door code didn’t work when we arrived at night and we sat outside in the dark holding our dinner and using our phone flashlight to find the various lockboxes. The property description posted is not accurate as it relates to pricing and usage of the spa. It didn’t heat the first day and required dozens of calls and texts and a maintenance visit to get it working. To his credit, the gentleman who fixed the spa was very friendly. Unfortunately, we had to request assistance from VRBO to get resolution for the issues with the front door and spa.The home itself is simple, but fine. It was clean and well appointed, though not upgraded. The microwave is a portable, apartment sized one and doesn’t really heat. The backyard is private and has nice loungers and plenty of shade and a lovely view. The pool required a lot of daily cleaning because the tall trees blow debris. We did like that they had quality, resort style pool floaties. We visit Palm Springs several times a year and have never had so many issues during a stay. The management company seems to be operating under different names and it took multiple attempts to get some issues resolved. After our stay they asked for feedback “to make things right” and then never followed up. Bottom line…if we hadn’t experienced any issues and gotten more help we could have had a very nice stay.

Hi Marty, thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed and constructive feedback. We are sincerely sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced during your arrival and throughout your stay. Having trouble accessing the home, encountering inconsistent information about the spa, and experiencing delays in communication are far below the high standard of service we strive to deliver to our guests. We are taking immediate action to address the specific issues you highlighted. While we are glad you enjoyed the private backyard, mountain views, and comfortable amenities, we deeply regret that our service gaps impacted your getaway. We appreciate your patience and your honest feedback, as it directly drives our operational improvements.
