Nestled in the serene Moonlight Basin neighborhood, this 3-story home spans 1,694 square feet and comfortably accommodates 13 guests in 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. This home offers easy ski-in/ski-out access in winter, and with only a 6-minute drive from Big Sky Resort, and a 5-minute drive to Beehive Basin Trailhead, endless opportunities for hiking and mountain biking in Summer.

Stepping into the great room, gorgeous natural lighting greets guests as it pours in through expansive picture windows that frame the breathtaking mountain views.

With garage parking for 1 vehicle and 2 spots in the driveway, it’s easy to explore the area and Yellowstone National Park (1 hour). For ski-in/ski-out access, walk to Bootlegger Run at the cul-de-sac’s end and follow it to Iron Horse Lift and Moonlight Lodge. Continue on to Madison Village for lessons, or to Derringer and Six Shooter Lift for full mountain access. Return via Lazy Jack. Book today!

Great ski home

Gorgeous, well equipped home. Perfect for our family of four for February skiing. Only caution is that the ski-in/ski-out isn’t quite what’s described. To ski in, the trails described in the listing DO NOT CONNECT. This caused a rotten end of day one when we had to walk up hill carrying our skis and the kids’ to get to Gambler. Better once we found a better way to ski back, which involved blues not greens, so may not be for everyone. Other than that, a great stay. Really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub.

Outstanding!! Moonlight Mountain Home | 9 Indian Summer

This property provided a fantastic ski in/ski out experience at Moonlight Basin-Big Sky Resort. Plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out over 3 floors (can sleep 10-12). Excellent main living and dining room area with exceptional mountain views and great/well stocked wood burning fireplace that was used every evening. Attached garage to keep the rental SUV, store equipment each night, and grab limitless wood for the fireplace as needed. The management company and local team were well above expectations. On at least 3 occasions, the local team arrived in person within 10-20 min to address very minor questions about the home. On our last ski day, the team quickly dispatched a resource to let my children and wife into the property, as I had pushed the time limits of the lifts sneaking in a final run from Lone Peak while having the house key with me. Truly first class service from the management team. Would recommend and will rent again. Andrew S.

First ski trip to Big Sky Montana

This property was exactly what was indicated on the listing!!! We enjoyed our time in this home. We happen to commit to the trip before we knew the ski conditions would not be that best… but the beautiful picture window over looking the mountains was fantastic and made the house extra cozy to just hang out on days we didn’t ski.

Great place- great location!

Really nice property - beautiful views and felt very private. We could barely see any other houses from inside. The ski/in out access was pretty easy - very short walk in/out directly to a ski run to the bottom of a actual lift(Iron Horse), and in a useful area of the mountain for intermediate and advanced skiers. The kitchen was nicely outfitted, and the spaces worked very well for our two families (10 people). We had great snow, and a very good stay.

Winter in June

Warm cozy cabin, well appointed and furnished, even if stuck in during covid and a surprise summer flurry. Views were beautiful, hiking directly from the front door and close to the main resort.

Visited over New Years and had a great week skiing.The description and photos of the house are accurate. Great ski access by just walking about 100 feet down the road.We had a hard time getting thermostat set correctly so it wasn't way too hot. We were a little disappointed that a ski cabin like this one didn't even have a ski rack in the garage. Also would be great if it had a little bench in the garage. A ski boot warmer/dryer would also be a welcome addition.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway.

This was a beautiful mountain home. Classy and comfortable with amazing views from inside and from outside on the deck and hot tub. The place easily hosted our party of 10 with plenty of sleeping and leisure room. The kitchen was well appointed with high end appliances, cookware and glassware. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and modern. In floor heat was a plus after coming in from the cold or when waking up in the morning. We will rent here again!

Great Winter Vacation Home

I visited Big Sky Montana in March 2018 and stayed at 9 Indian Summer. This is my families 5th year in Big Sky and we finally found a floor plan and location that completely suits our needs. The snow was great this year and we enjoyed the ski in, ski out features this property offered. The views from the house as the sun rose in the morning and set in the evening greatly enhanced the experience.
