Perfect location that overlooks Hill City. Walking distance to the 1880 train and minutes from My Rushmore. Very quiet location too!

This was an excellent property for the location. We were able to walk into downtown which was only a block away. Ample room for four adults and three children.Garbage disposal needed attention, washer/dryer and dishwasher were very clean and worked well.It was convenient to have access to a garage. Batteries need to be replaced on a few of the door locks. Overall it was a great place for us to stay. Evenings were beautiful which made it enjoyable to use the deck.

Lookout Over Hill CityWe loved this spot — the location is unbeatable. There’s a little path right out the back door that takes you down the hill and drops you right onto Main Street (or it's a very short drive). There's a pizza place at the bottom of the hill, so we grabbed carry‑out and enjoyed it on the deck.And the deck… easily my favorite part of the stay. It’s a beautiful wraparound with wide views of Hill City and the surrounding hills. I enjoyed hanging on the deck and watching the 1880 train depart/arrive across the street.Inside, the photos don’t do it justice. The whole place was clean and welcoming. I had a last‑minute special request, and the host’s quick response was genuinely appreciated.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Black Hills — Hill City is such a perfect, central home base for all the major attractions.

Great place to stay!

This home was a perfect location for a South Dakota Black Hills Vacation stay. Clean, well-stocked and close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the town in the evening after sightseeing and hiking.

Fantastic Home Away From Home

Loved this property! Clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and spectacular views from the decks. Close to many wonderful things to see in the Black Hills. Definitely would stay there again.
