Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage in a treed setting 1/2 mile to water access.

Beautiful cottage to rent. Main bedroom has a 2 piece ensuite (sink and toilet) Queen size bed. Second bedroom also equipped with a Queen size bed. Third bedroom has a bunk bed double size on the bottom single on top. Kitchen has full size fridge, stove and microwave. Living area has a large sectional and lots of other comfortable seats. Main washroom has soaker tub that can fit 2 adults. Double sinks in there as well. Large open deck in the front.

Peaceful retreat

This was the escape from Toronto I needed.I grew up in a rural environment so being mindful of waste and water consumption was not a big deal. The only thing I needed was air conditioning! My 15 year old overheats easily.I think he would have liked internet, but we really spent time exploring the island.The beach in Little Current is quiet and calm, and at night you can watch fireflies from the front porch of the cottage.

Family reuion trip

My husband, sister and i reserved this beautiful 3 bedroom unit. For the close approximety to the event. This house was fablous. I would strongly recommed this place. And i will definetly stay herr again. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Great Property!!!

Fantastic vacation. Only 15 minutes from Little Current where there are great little shops and restaurants. If you need parts for your car while you are there go see Fred at Auto Parts North and he will help you out. As for the cottage it was wonderful. Clean, up to date, quiet and comfortable. Has a fire pit and a large front deck. Beds are comfortable too. Outside at night you will see a million stars and hear distant coyotes howling. Lots of great fishing nearby and lots of roadside honor stands selling various things including one just down the street selling jelly. For firewood find Adam's firewood on Facebook and drop him a message as he is only 15 minutes away. This cottage and the island is fantastic in so many ways. Highly recommend to anyone!!

Das Ferienhaus ist gut eingerichtet. Die Lage ist gut, um die Inselwelt zu erkunden.Da das Haus keinen Wasseranschluss an eine kommunale Leitung oder Brunnen hat, bitten die Vermieter um entsprechenden sparsamen Umgang mit dem Wasser. Das viel uns nicht schwer. Wir beachten dies auch daheim.Jedoch möchte ich dazu anmerken, dass dann eine Dusche besser ist, als eine Wanne. Diese ist für ältere Menschen auch schwer zu benutzen, trotz einer kleinen Leiter.Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass der Gefrierschrank im Wohnbereich sehr laut ist. Im Schlafzimmer hat man ihn aber nicht gehört.Dass es kein WLAN gab, war für uns kein Problem. Das Mobilfunknetz ist dort gut.

Manitoulin Island itself was pure pleasure. We very much enjoyed calling this location home for our stay. The pictures do not do this location justice. It is simply everything you need, in a great location for visiting all locations on the island. Thank you for sharing your vacation home.

Very nice cottage. We enjoyed our visit. The host provided everything to make our stay enjoyable. It was nice to be able to eat in the cottage and not have to buy at a restaurant. Would definitely stay here again if going to Manitoulin Island. Nice and centrally located.

Enjoyed our stay!

Exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly host who answered any questions right away through messages. If you need a getaway to just chill, this is it. You need to drive to get to island attractions but nothing is very far away.

This cottage is even nicer than the pictures. The yard is large and beautifully maintained, with a huge deck to sit out and enjoy the quiet view. We had the best time, thanks!!

A Fine Home Base for Manitoulin Island

This basic home was fine and a good value for our family of four. The primary drawback is that the home does not provide wi-fi, which I didn't realize before arriving. Considering the home provides satellite TV... I would imagine Internet is possible, and it would be better to have Internet with no satellite TV in my opinion, since guests often travel with their own streaming services. There is also something of a water rationing encouraged since the home is not connected to municipal water source or well. Instead water is trucked into the home, so the owner encourages limited water use. This did not prove to be an issue for us in practice, but it did make us more water aware throughout our stay. There is not a normal shower provided, instead, a tub only, with a spray nozzle. All in all, we enjoyed our time on Manitoulin Island and this home was well situated for our needs and a good value for the price.

A perfect getaway

Hiking adventure to Manitoulin Island led us to this cottage. It was perfect. A good location from all the places we wanted to see. It was exactly as described and exactly what we needed. Would definitely use it again if we went back. Bed was super comfy!

Manitoulin adventure

The property was actually much nicer than the pictures showed. House is basalt a brand new home. Location was good for us to explore the eastern side of the island including cup and saucer, providence bay beach as well as a couple of small museums and a cultural center. Water at the house was not an issue for us, although we were careful with our use of it.

Great Family Cottage
