This property was everything it was advertised to be! The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment, the beds and bedrooms were all comfortable and well laid out. The bathrooms were clean. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Family vacation

Great family get together!

It had been six years since all three of our children and their families had been together in one place. And this place was great! Every family had their own bedroom and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the kayaking on the lake and fishing too. Jeff was great host and would recommend this home to the next family looking to reconnect!

Everything about this home was perfect for our group of parents & adult kids! Very clean & beautiful home. The layout of the house allowed us to play games around the kitchen together & gather, but offered plenty of spaces for privacy. We enjoyed grilling outside, we love to cook, so the we really appreciated all the cooking utensils and gadgets. Booking, Directions & communication was excellent. It was nice to see Deerfield Resort-everyone we met was very friendly. Fun on the lake-swimming from dock, boating and jet skiing.

Wonderful Stay!

This is a great property and a wonderful location. It's a large home with bedrooms in different parts of the house for a little privacy for a larger party, the kitchen has everything you need if you're cooking your own meals, it has a washer and dryer which is convenient and the deck is large and tree covered for some nice relaxation. The home sits back in a small cove where you can swim off your dock privately and securely. It is close to two marinas so it is very convenient to rent a boat or jet skis to explore the lake, grab lunch or dinner or just go for a nice cruise. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!!

Property was clean, decorated, and very well stocked. Owners prompt & polite to work with. One bedroom only had 1 queen instead of 2 as listed. Dock is large but shared with 4 other houses. Approximately 38 Steep steps up/down to dock but was okay for our group. We had a great time. Thanks!

House is very clean and big. Only verizon wireless works, the Wi-Fi network is very spotty and barely works. 2 charcoal grills. No gas grill. Nice dock, really quite cove, beautiful lake and views, we all enjoyed it very much.

Family vacation

Property was beautiful. Hosts were very responsive. Had an issue with sink and dishwasher first day. They had their workers out the next day fixing the problem. Couldn't have asked for a better host. The set up of the home was perfect for our family. We can't say enough about how beautiful this lake is. Was our first time and won't be our last. The dock was perfect for hanging out. We will be back again!!!

Lakeside fun

Great experience. House was perfect for our 2 families. Location on lake was perfect. Description of neighborhood could’ve been a little bit better. Neighborhood was fine golf course nearby, playground/pool area was smaller than anticipated and had to be driven to. We would’ve skipped bringing our bikes knowing that the neighborhood really isn’t bike friendly for kids. Overall we would definitely stay in the house and neighborhood again but just have more realistic awareness for use of other amenities. We go there for the lake mostly anyway.

Great Fall Escape

This lovely home on Lake Norris was a great place for eight retired college friends to reconnect. The four bedrooms and baths were perfect for four couples and gave us each a place to retreat, when we needed personal space. The fall colors were beautiful while we were there, the second week of October, and our favorite activities included walking, hot tubbing and just relaxing on the deck, enjoying the view. The only drawback (if you can call it that) was a poor wi-fi connection but that enhanced conversation and personal interaction. The men enjoyed a fishing charter while the "girls" were antiquing in Clinton, TN. Many local attractions/marinas had closed down for the season, but that meant crowds were nonexistent when we did venture out. We are already talking about our next getaway!

Beautiful Home in Deerfield

We loved the house and love the Deerfield community. We stay at a friends house in Deerfield every August, so we were familiar with the area. The owners were very responsive and provided a very clean home that has plenty of things there for you to use in the kitchen. The owners do tell you up front that cellphone reception is poor, which it was. There are also comments on this listing about the internet being poor, which is also true. At the end of the day, you're in a awesome house on an awesome lake, so you shouldn't be using too much of either; however, there were several times when a decent internet connection would've have been great. All in all, wonderful home! I will be back for sure!

Nice family get away

We've been coming to Norris for 20 years now and thought we would try the Deerfield area. What a week, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed every minute with our family. The House was as described not needing the extra supplies as some rentals. We had 10 people and were very comfortable with the space. The internet was a bonus for the 4 teenagers staying in contact with their friends. They also supplied a huge selection of DVD movies to wind down in the evenings if needed. Just a short walk to the shared dock which wasn't a problem. Heads up though be sure to keep your shoes on while on the dock the plastic decking can blister your feet in the sunlight. The only recommendation we can make is they need more pantry space for your food. The Deerfield area is a busy area for boating so be prepared for choppy water during the day. Be sure to secure your trash in the bin with the rope & huge rocks to keep the racoons out. We had several visitors through the week. I would recommend this place.

As the new owners, Chris & Jennifer have owned rental properties in Ohio for over 30 years and have vast experience with rentals. Chris is a small business owner, and Jennifer works in the healthcare field. We have enjoyed vacationing at Norris Lake with our two girls for almost as long. We have always wanted to own a lake house, and we made that dream a reality on September 30, 2024. Our plan is to eventually retire and live in Tennesse full time, but until Chris is ready to slow down at his job so we can do that, we have decided to share our little piece of heaven with you and your loved ones. We hope your family will make everlasting memories on Norris and want to come back every year like us.

Why they chose this property

After vacationing at Norris Lake for over 25 years we knew we would eventually end up owning a home here it was just a matter of finding the right fit for our family. We love all aspects of lake life and wanted to be on the water. This house fit all of our needs with minimal steps (less than 30) to the lake and the tranquil setting of the wooded lot made this house an easy choice. You almost forget that it is situated inside the gated community of Deerfield. Which for us was another huge bonus as we are minutes from the golf course and the marina. It truly offers us everything you could ask for in a home away from home. We are excited to be able to share our new home with you so that others may enjoy the lake, and all that this area has to offer,
