The house is situated between two picturesque villages, Skoutari and Parasyros overlooking the beautiful bay of Skoutari.
It's a free-standing house that was built by us with great care.
It is surrounded by terraces, olive trees and stone oaks.
A 5' minute drive brings you to stunning beaches

The house is ideal for a couple or a family.
Sleeping arrangements:
There are 2 double beds plus an option of 2 singles .
One double bed is situated on the sleeping gallery (ground floor) and the rest are on the top floor.
There is a big comfortable bathroom with shower and toilet, fully equipped kitchen and a Grand Terrace with shaded tables and chairs.
The place is equipped with Airconditioning backed by solar energy.
For the winter period there is a large wood oven (wood is provided).
The land and garden surrounding's (4000 sqm) is private and for the guests use only.

The closest charming and authentic towns are Gythio and Areopoli (less than20 km) where you will find all that you may need and any necessary facilities.

The most southern finger of the Peloponnese,THE MANI, is vast, wild and beautiful.
Mountains, forests, rivers, caves, classic antiquities, markets, taverns, harbour's and of course the sea.

It is a true adventure.

Nous avons passé 10 jours hors du temps dans cette belle maison au milieu de la nature où on se sent très bien.Decoration et architecture ont été étudiées avec beaucoup de goût, en tout cas le notre :) La maison est un peu isolée et donc tres calme. La plage est toute proche et l accès au Magne et à Gythio tres facile pour rayonner. Attention pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir, la maison n a pas de volets et est lumineuse.Pas de soucis de chaleur à l intérieur, les climatisations font très bien le travail pour dormir sereinement.Merci à Amos pour l accueil

Perfektes Haus, perfekte Lage, perfekte Gastgeber... Sehr ruhig, sehr ländlich. Traumhafter Blick über sanfte Hügel, Bergkulisse und auf die Bucht von Skoutari. Das neue Haus ist in Alleinlage mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut und eingerichtet - schlicht, elegant, modern. Die Umgebung (ohne Auto wohl kaum zu entdecken): einsame Dörfer, nahe Strände, kleine Tavernen, unausgetretene Pfade, Schildkröten, die die Straße queren, Oktopusse, die im Wasser bewundert werden wollen.... Kurz: einfach perfekt! Mitte Oktober - eine unfassbar schöne Reisezeit mit Luft- und Wassertemperaturen um die 25 Grad C. An Ausflugszielen gibt es mehr als reichlich: die wilde Mani, das historisch bedeutsame, zauberhaft gelegene Mystras, die nahen Berge, die Dörfer der Umgebung, die Badebuchten, das quirlige Fischerstädtchen Gythion mit Markt am Freitagvormittag... Wir danken Anne, Amos und ihren Kindern herzlich, dass sie uns ihr Heim geöffnet haben und kommen gerne wieder. Susanne mit Familie aus Norddeutschland

A perfect stay

I do not know where to start with my praise ... everything was perfect. The house is well-situated with beautiful beaches nearby while being absolutely tranquil with a superb view over the sea and the wonderful landscape. We loved the open loft-like interior with spaceous kitchen area, we loved all the lovingly planned details such as the walk-in shower, we loved the tasteful outfit, we loved the large terrace with sun and shade, perfect for every time of the day, we loved the excellent olive oil provided by our hosts and their caring but inobtrusive introduction to the facilities. This week in September was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Ah, and we played Rummicub with the vintage set provided, thumbed through the art books and spent many hours in hammocks under the oak trees, listening to the song of birds and cicadas. Communication with the hosts was always easy, quick and straightforward, the house was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Blick!

Zwei Wochen haben wir zu zweit in diesem schönen und großen Haus verbracht. Man merkt, dass es mit viel LIebe zum Detail selbst gebaut wurde. Insofern stimmen alle Bilder auf der Seite mit der Realität überein. Wenn es sich ermöglichen lässt, dann sollte man die Hochsommermonate vermeiden. Das Haus lässt sich nicht abdunklen und ab dem frühen Morgen scheint die Sonne in das Haus, was für andere Monate sicherlich sehr schön ist. So aber heizt es sich sehr auf und man bekommt abends nicht richtig die Hitze aus dem Haus. Und da man oben auf der Galerie schläft.... Ansonsten ein Top-Ferienhaus, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Wundervolles Haus mit Blick in die Berge und aufs Meer zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben wundervolle Tage in Anne und Amos Ferienhaus mit unserer 23 Monate alten Tochter hier verbracht. Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns alle drei willkommen und wie zu Hause in der Unterkunft gefühlt, was zum einen an der sehr herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Anne und Amos und zum anderen an der sehr geschmackvollen Einrichtung des Hauses liegt. Das Ferienhaus sowie die Küche sind perfekt ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Unserer Tochter hat sich über die vorhanden schönen Spielsachen und Bücher gefreut. Die Lage mit dem Blick in die Berge und aufs Meer ist traumhaft. Wir haben viele Stunden auf der Terrasse verbracht und die Ruhe und Natur genossen. Auch die Umgebung hat uns sehr gefallen. Skoutari ist ein kleines sehr sympathisches Dorf mit einem schönen Sandstrand, der sich gut für Kleinkinder eignet. Es gibt einige tolle und leckere Tavernen in der Umgebung (z.B. Taverne bei Drosopigi oder Strandtaverne Kalamakia) oder auch in Gythio (Glyfada), in denen wir fangfrischen Fisch oder leckeres Lamm (Drosopigi Taverne) gegessen haben. Der Standort eignet sich hervorragend, um die Mani zu entdecken, einen Abstecher nach Mystras oder in die Berge bei Sparta zu machen, am Strand oder einfach in der Unterkunft selbst zu relaxen. Wir hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen!

Beautiful place, you'd never want to leave again!

We (couple) spent a wonderful week in Amos and Annes hidden gem. Their house is of stunning elegance, but also cosy and functional. There are outdoor spaces suitable for every time of the sunny day, where you can read, chill and enjoy the stunning view you have over Mani and the sea. We'll definetely come back!

Authentisches Ferienhaus im Stil der Peloponnes

Wir verbrachten einen sehr angenehmen Urlaub in diesem authentischen Haus auf der Peloponnes. Die Besitzer haben dieses Ferienhaus mit Sorgfalt und detailreichen Facetten erbaut. Die Ausstattung im Wohn und Baubereich ist komfortabel und großzügig. Anne und Amos waren sehr angenehme und hilfsbereite Vermieter. In der näheren Umgebung findet man einsame Badebuchten, genauso aber auch längere Strände mit Schirmen und zugehörigen Cafe´s. Die Städte Gythio und Areopolis laden zum Einkauf, Wochenmarkt, Essen&Trinken und mehr ein. Die größte Tropfsteinhöhle Griechenlands Pirgos Dyrou (bei Areopolis) ist mit dem Auto etwa 30 Minuten entfernt. Ein absolutes Muss! Mit kleinen geführten Booten wird die ca. 1km lange Höhle durchfahren. Unser Favorit bei Essen&Trinken war die Taverne in Drosopigi oberhalb von Skoutari. Auf etwa 400 Höhenmeter ist ein fantastischer Ausblick über die Mani und das nahe Taigetos Gebirge.

A wonderful place

My husband and I have rent this house for two weeks (end July - mid August 2017) and every day was a new discovery on how pleasant this place was for us. The house was very clean, comfortable, spacious and practical. The design of the house gave us an immediate welcome and feeling of being at home. The outside terrace was wonderful and exposed to the sun almost all day long (we love the sun) offering, however, places with shadow due to trees and an sun-umbrella. Every night we looked at a magnificent starlike sky and during the day we spotted small eagles flying low. The position of the house is great, because the house is isolated on a slope of a hill, a quite hill (no sounds of cars or general city-like noise), but it is very easy to access and close to the road leading to all important nearby places. Although we did not met in persons the owners of the hose, we had a very good communication and we wish to thank Anne and Amos once more for their kindness in providing us with everything we needed, for making us feeling that they were ready to help us in case of need and for their precious indications on nearby places to visit or eat. We strongly reccomand this place and we wish to be back one day to enjoy again the coziness of the house

We spent two weeks in early June and LOVED our stay!!!!

The house was perfect for us. Every detail had been considered for our arrival (bottled water, wine, beer, fruit, coffee, spotlessly clean, plenty of fresh linen etc.) and we were introduced to the property by Ann and Amos who are charming and professional. We wanted, and found, a comfortable, beautiful retreat that feels very private without feeling remote. It is stylish, contemporary and comfortable and is not overlooked at all. The surrounding area is stunning. The main living area is open plan and very spacious with tall ceilings, comfortable seating, 2 large dining tables and chairs. The terrace overlooks spectacular views of mountains, orchards, sea. All views are amazing. We will definitely return, and highly recommend this property.
