The Lodge is a 5,800 sq. ft. hand-hewn log and timber custom home with beautiful details that make it perfect for the ultimate family getaway. With five bedrooms and four full- and two half- bathrooms, The Lodge comfortably accommodates 13 people. Several indoor and outdoor seating areas provide ample opportunities to relax and unwind as the fresh air and quiet cove immerse guests in complete mountain tranquility. Stone porches running the length of The Lodge on both the front and back offer multiple ways to enjoy the mountain air, from rocking chairs and a hammock to seating around a fire table. Inside you'll find a comfy living area with gorgeous views of the pond just below, the rolling hills of the cove, and the mountain tops that surround you. In colder months, enjoy a fire in the beautiful wood-burning stone fireplace.
For the chefs in the family, the fully-equipped, spacious gourmet kitchen boasts a Wolf six-burner gas range, a second Wolf steam oven, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator. With plenty of space for multiple cooks to work, the gourmet kitchen is adjacent to the dining area making it perfect for staying connected even while preparing meals. The walk-in pantry and ample cabinets provide plenty of room for all your large-family-gathering groceries.
Also on the main level, the master bedroom (king bed) and adjoining ensuite bedroom (twin bed) share an ensuite master bathroom with two vanities, two water closets, a walk-in shower, and two side-by-side copper soaking tubs. A private covered porch off the master bedroom is the perfect place for a quiet morning coffee.
Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath. The first has two queen beds, a dedicated workspace, and a walk-in shower in the en suite. The second has one queen bed and a tub/shower combination. Connecting the bedrooms is an open loft with comfy seating for book lovers and nappers alike.
The lower level boasts a large living area with a pool table, a wet bar, and a smart television. A weight room just off the living area can be enjoyed in private, or with the doors open to keep an eye on the tv or game of pool. An additional "game" room, complete with an additional smart tv for your gaming console, a table for games and puzzles, and a closet packed with fun family games, provides a second area in which to gather. Also downstairs is a bedroom that sleeps an additional four in dorm-style twin beds. A full bath with walk-in shower and a half-bath complete the lower level accommodations.
