We are.....PSU Alumni who are excited to share our home with you.
We also have football season tickets. Please inquire if interested. They do not come as part of the rental.
ONLY 2.5 miles to Beaver Stadium!
ONLY 2.5 miles to downtown State College ($12 Uber ride)!
ENTIRE house has been updated with NEW kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, beds, etc. This home will have you feeling both relaxed and energized for any type of event or vacation.
This ranch style home, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, has all new beds and bedding. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and HDTV's on the upper level. One is a master bedroom/bathroom with a Queen bed and bunk bed set. The other is a bedroom adjacent to the common bathroom. Kitchen and main room with 55" HDTV are also on the upper level. Deck off the kitchen with a grill and seating. The lower level has a great room with a table and chairs for eating or playing games and a pull out sofa bed (plenty of seating to watch the 50" HDTV). The large downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with doors to the backyard. There are also doors off the great room to the outside patio with seating. Backyard has tire swing, playset, and tether ball.

Clean and convenient!

We truly enjoyed staying here while my daughter attended a PSU day sports camp. The house was exactly what we needed in a quiet neighborhood close to campus. We would definitely stay there again!

Easy access everywhere in state college

We were mostly staying to go to sporting events with the family (basketball game, track meet, etc) and it was a great location to drive anywhere. House was nice and as described, and host was super communicative and helpful.

Nice quiet stay

We stayed here while helping our daughter move into her apartment for school. It was a great base location and we had quiet and restful sleep that was very helpful for a such a hectic trip. This will be our go to place to stay for future visits to Penn State to see our daughter if it is available.

Great experience

Kevin was an excellent host. Very easy to communicate with and let us add an extra night only a few weeks out. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location as well. I would definitely stay again!

Family stay for wedding

Kevin was a wonderful host. Everything was well thought out and exactly as described in the listing. We had 7 adults and 1 infant. We had ample room and could have happily stayed longer. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Great place close to campus

Stayed here while moving daughter into Penn State dorms. It’s a quick drive to the campus, downtown, and shops. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We had plenty of room and it was great to be able to spread out. We will be back!

Great little house in an excellent location!

We lived in State College for decades, and returned to the area for a long weekend. We were all talking about how we'd never fully recognized what a great location Lemont is. It's close to everything! The house is cozy and well appointed, with plenty of seating and two different gathering spaces for when you want to do kids down and adults up! There are some super fun games in the lower level, too, which provided great entertainment when we weren't out enjoying town.

Great spot in Happy Valley!

My family rented Kevin's house for the weekend. It was a perfect spot to hang out and it comfortably slept everyone! The house was clean and comfortable, and it had a convenient location-- just a short ride to the stadiums and downtown. The house was also equipped with everyone we could possibly need: games, a grill, plenty of dishes, paper products, and tons of kitchen gadgets (even and blender and a crockpot). We will definitely be back! *The beds were comfy too*

Couldn't have been better!

This home is so charmingly decorated and furnished we really felt like we were on vacation (my kids want to "get comfortable couches like THEY have"). Plus the owners had all the extras that made the stay so easy and enjoyable, like snacks and shampoos and very clean linens, etc. We wished we brought more people and enjoyed the house more, but we were busy on campus with our son. Next time!

Super house for a football weekend in State College!

This house had everything we needed-- it was brand new, updated kitchen and bathrooms, every amenity we could ask for! We had 6 adults and 4 kids spending the weekend in State College for a football game and wanted to spend the weekend together in a house, not a hotel. This one was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary to cook meals for a crowd, the bathrooms had plenty of fresh towels, and the linens in the bedrooms were comfy, fresh and clean. The house is close to campus and was easy to come and go--we hope to be back soon!

Quick Trip

We stayed for a tournament at Penn State. The house was super convenient. The rooms were nice (although I did bang into the bunk beds in the master bedroom on a midnight bathroom trip), and the games were a huge hit (even with my kids being older), condiments in the kitchen was a bit odd, but nevertheless appreciated. Having all of the kitchen utensils was also a nice bonus! The one knock would be that the TV in the master didn't work. Everything else was great, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very nice house with ample room for everyone. Very easy check in process. Owners were very friendly and called a few days before our stay to go over a few things and answer any questions that we had. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay at this property.

Precious Family Time

The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. It gave our family a chance to relax and share time together in a homey environment. We were able to all stay together instead of in separate hotel rooms, and have meals together in a family atmosphere. Our host contacted us before and after our stay to make sure we knew what to expect, and to check that we enjoyed our stay. It was a great experience!

We are Penn State alumni! We have two elementary school-aged daughters who are already counting the days until they can enroll at Dear Old State!

Why they chose this property

We wanted to have a home to be able to come back and enjoy the PSU experience with our daughters. We hope you will have a wonderful experience and create your own memories of State College like we have. Whether your trip includes a football game, graduation, festival, or just a little R&R away from the everyday craziness, this "home away from home" will truly be an enjoyable experience.

What makes this property unique

We are 3 miles from downtown State College and about the same distance from Beaver Stadium and the Bryce Jordan Center. The Nittany Mall is also 2 miles away. Basically, a 10 minute drive will get you to just about anywhere you need to go!
Our house is close enough to the action, but in a quiet area for you and your family to relax. We have a play set for the kids, a deck for the adults, and a basement for every one!
There is wi-fi Internet as well as cable TV in 2/3 of the rooms.
We pride ourselves on keeping the home well maintained and clean for our guests.
