Guest access Entire Home
Other things to note This house can accommodate large size trailers since it has a pull through driveway. However, be aware that during winter months this area can get a very large amount of snow (1 foot in 24 hours which is exacerbated by drifts due to strong winds) in a short period of time and even though we do our absolute best to plow the roads the crews can be overwhelmed during such times. If you plan to bring a very larger trailer then bring it at your own risk. We do not guarantee we can accommodate such a large trailer during winter storms.
Please note that the location is at an elevation of 7,000 ft, where weather conditions can be unpredictable and snowfall may occur at any time of the year. We recommend arriving well-prepared for changing weather conditions.
Please note that the cabin is located in a natural forested setting and shares its environment with local wildlife. A professional pest control service is used regularly; however, occasional sightings of insects or small animals may occur. These are a normal part of staying in a wooded, rural area and do not qualify for refunds.
Please note that our home is located in a rural area, where summers are typically dry and dusty. It is very common to have dust, debris and cobwebs on the decks and outside areas in spite of our efforts. Also, fire pits may not be usable due to fire restrictions.
Also, road and other constructions are passable in neighboring properties, and we cannot control what neighbors or county do on theirs lots and properties.
The outside of the cabin maybe be different from the depicted photos based on the season, sunset and more. This is a high altitude and forested area and the landscape changes immensely from season to season. This is not a city dueling, and as such the meadows and landscaping around the cabin will change throughout the season. We ask you to take note of this before booking.
Allergy Disclaimer: While our home is professionally cleaned before each stay, we cannot guarantee that it is completely free of dust, fragrances, pollen, or other allergens. Guests with severe allergies, asthma, or chemical sensitivities should carefully consider this before booking, as we cannot guarantee an environment entirely free of potential allergens.
Prior to arrival, guests will be asked to review and agree to a separate rental agreement outlining these details to ensure clear expectations for a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Property was beautiful and as represented in pictures. Basketball/pickleball court was a nice surprise. The host was incredibly helpful for suggestions for things to do and places to stay. Our family had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend.
What a beautiful place to spend our family vacation! The home had everything we needed and then some. It was conveniently located to Yellowstone which made entry into the park a breeze. Loved meeting the owners and getting to see their new lodge next too!
This was a great house for a multi-generation Yellowstone trip. Close to the West Entrance of the park. Very clean! Excellent communication with the host. Chris answered all our questions quickly, which was so helpful while planning our trip.
We absolutely loved our stay at Bison Creek. The house was beautiful and comfortable for our group. It was easy to access and had ample parking for our trailers. I highly recommend this property!
We had a fabulous stay at the Bison Creek Lodge. Very clean and had everything we needed for a home away from home. It was definitely one of our kids favorite parts of our trip and they are already asking when we can stay at the lodge again!
We stayed in Island Park because we could not find anything comparable in West Yellowstone. And ate we ever glad we did. Our stay was perfect for grandparents down through young grandchildren. Highly recommended.
There is not one bad thing I could say about our stay at this beautiful home other then the fact that I wish we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect! 10 min and we were at the gate to W. Yellowstone. The view from this house was spectacular. It was spotless inside and out. The host was extremely responsive to my questions. And before we got there, he provided an abundance of suggestions regarding restaurants, tourism, grocery food stores and anything we may want to know!! Thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful home! We will be back!
Our trip landed in Bozeman. Two hour scenic drive to Island Park and we arrived at the amazing cabin. In short the location was ideal as it was close enough to the attractions but also secluded where it felt cozy and quiet. The actual cabin (under statement) was one of the highlights of our stay. Very well appointed. Plenty of room. Views and comfort throughout. We purchased groceries in Island Park about 20 minutes down the road.Really can’t say enough positive things about our stay.Temperature control was a bit tricky as we went in July (we’re from humid and hot Texas). However it all worked fine once we figured out the fancy thermostat.Highly recommend.
This cabin was very spacious and well furnished. Chris was excellent to respond to any questions I had throughout the process in a very timely manner. 4-stars on accuracy because although the listing says the hot tub is usable, it isn't. The control sticker is warped and unreadable so you can't determine how to turn it on to heat the water to a hot temperature. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness and functionality of this property. Upon arrival, the washing machine had visible grime/residue and produced a strong mold/mildew odor. We also found dirty/stained linens and blankets on arrival. We attempted to clean the washer ourselves, but appropriate cleaning supplies were not available and the odor persisted. Because the washer is located in the master bedroom area, the odor made that bedroom unusable for sleeping. This was a short 2 day family trip and we chose not to spend vacation time coordinating maintenance, but the issues materially impacted our stay. While the home itself is newer, cleanliness and preparedness did not appear to be a priority. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and have never left a critical review before, but felt it was important to share this experience for future guests.

Response from VrboOwner on 10 January 2026
This guest raised a complaint on the day of checkout, alleging that the washing machine was not clean and had a moldy smell, and subsequently demanded an $850 refund. At no point during their stay did they notify us of this issue or give us the opportunity to address it. Had we been informed, we would have promptly sent maintenance or housekeeping to resolve the concern.
The timing of the complaint—made only at checkout and accompanied by a large refund request—strongly suggests an attempt to obtain an unwarranted refund rather than a genuine service issue. We take guest concerns seriously, but we also believe this behavior is inconsistent with good-faith use of the platform and unfair to hosts who rely on honest feedback to correct real problems.
