Deer Lake is located within just a mile of Ottertail Lake. Our cabin is furnished with hand crafted log furniture. It has 3 bedrooms and one bath. The cabin features a jacuzzi tub, washer/dryer and a pool table available for your use. Bedrooms include a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, Bedroom #2 has a set of twin over twin bunk beds and Bedroom #3 has a queen sized bed. This is a great place for families. You will enjoy the beautiful sunsets that shine over Deer Lake in the evenings as you enjoy the outdoor patio area or sitting around the campfire. Large open space in home that is ideal for gatherings.

Cozy log cabin

Cozy log cabin experience in a great location. 15 minutes from a dozen fun restaurants and quaint shopping. Quiet lake. Classic Minnesota experience. Alisha is welcoming and very responsive.

An ok place

We liked this place, great workmanship in the log features and was very nicely decorated. Our grandchildren really enjoyed all the toys and the bunkbeds. The downside of this property is the cleanliness and a need for some upgrades to the outside. Back deck is in very poor shape and outdoor chairs are mostly all broke. Sliding door has no screen so no way to get the nice lake breeze inside. Handle on microwave is broke and water smells like rotten eggs (may just need to take anode rod out of water heater). Very well stocked kitchen with utensils and such and we were able to do a lot of cooking. Could use a very deep cleaning as cupboards were pretty dirty inside. Not sure we would stay again, No messaging from host at all!!

Great spot for kids!

Alisha was super helpful, the layout of the house is excellent, and there are lots of amenities and toys for kids. Cabin could use a deep clean, but it was good for our purposes.

First time VRBO user

Enjoyed my time with the grandkids! Was expecting more of a beach area and sandy water but the girls enjoyed fishing off the dock! Ventured into Battle Lake and Fergus Falls so the location was wonderful for that!

I am a school teacher who is from the Fergus Falls area. Our family occupied the cabin most of the summers, until I decided to rent it out through VRBO. I have owned this cabin for 18 years and we completely remodeled the cabin when we first got it. I have 5 daughters who enjoy coming here when we have the time. We are a busy family with volleyball, dance, and school.
