The Space:

La Fortaleza I is a remodeled loft in which I have paid special attention to ensure that it has the necessary amenities for short and long stays. The apartment's design combines an elegant, Oaxacan style with quality wooden furniture; at the same time, it provides comfort, functionality and is cozy to give you a unique experience. It has air conditioning, high-speed WiFi that allows you to make video calls and work remotely efficiently. The kitchen is equipped with high-quality utensils and tableware, so you can enjoy your meals. With its premium location, it allows you to be within walking distance of the most interesting places in the Center, such as the best restaurants, bars, cultural and tourist sites. You will also have nearby convenience stores, laundry, markets, craft stores and the bike path. You have access at any time to the building's beautiful shared terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the view. In the same building as La Fortaleza I, there is my Café, “Café Punto Paz”, where you can enjoy high-altitude Oaxacan coffee, different drinks and freshly prepared food, a highly recommended mezcal store “CUISH”, the adventure tour operator “Coyote” and a place to rent bicycles “Bici Bella”



Guest Access:

You will have access to "La Fortaleza I" without time restrictions as it has a separate entrance. The terrace is shared but almost no one uses it, it is practically for the unit.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located in the Historic Center two blocks from the "Ex Convento de Santo Domingo", right in front of the "Jardín Carbajal" two blocks from the "El Llano" park and the "Jardín Conzatti" park. It is located right at the beginning of the Andador Turístico (the main pedestrian street in Centro), In the same building as the apartment there is a Café that serves breakfast, snacks and excellent coffee; A mezcaleria "Cuish", "Bike Rental" and "Tours". The organic products and Oaxacan food market "La Cosecha" is a few steps away, convenience stores, laundry service, bars, cafes, restaurants, public transportation to any part of the city, terraces and historical sites, all this on foot. A total experience of the City of Oaxaca!



Getting Around:

Getting around the area is very easy, on foot or by bicycle, it is very nice.

My goal is to provide you with a unique experience during your staying at "La Fortaleza I", that is why upon arrival you will find a Welcome Kit with freshly ground specialty Oaxacan coffee, dried fruits from "Café Punto Paz", bottled water from the brand "Santa María", and sparkling water from the brand "Perrier".
