The owner was very friendly and always available to answer any questions I had. House was spotless and linens fresh. All amenities were in good working order. Had a very quiet stay in the woods. A lovely New England weekend.
This lovely home is off the beaten path but close to many small towns. The home was very clean and charming. The grounds were planted beautifully- especially the deep blue hydrangeas. Sarah even supplied coffee for us! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed sitting on the deck having our morning coffee. Will stay again when we are in the area.
We had an excellent stay! The home was very nice, comfortable, and welcoming. Sarah (the host) was very communicative and available (although we didn’t end up needing anything fixed or changed - I knew if we did it would be). We had both adults and an infant and it was absolutely family friendly without being directly kid-oriented. My fiancé really enjoyed the available canoe and river access. Everything worked as it should and I would highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting access to Collinsville, Canton / Avon, Farmington, etc. or anyone just looking for a weekend of serenity!! 5 stars!
Everything was excellent! The hosts communicated well, the house was amazing with a fabulous kitchen that was well stocked with any piece of cooking equipment that we could possibly need. The bedrooms were quite comfortable, the dining room and living rooms were perfect. We loved the view of the river and how close the house was to the nearby communities (but not TOO close). We hope to return again and again!
Great property with nature all around from deer to red tailed hawks. Quiet enough to hear the birds all day long or go out on the river with conveniently provided canoes and paddle board. Very spacious house where everyone had elbow room.
Our stay at Riverside Farm was more than we could’ve hoped for. The location is like something out of a storybook. The house was great for a young family- my 3 kids enjoyed the river, canoes and ping pong. It was clean, safe and well stocked. We will absolutely be returning in the future and are so grateful for the fond memories made here!
Trying to find the right words to describe this delightful property. Such a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable property! Very relaxing- clean and inviting!! A real gem!!! The property owners were wonderful in their communication!!
We enjoyed our stay beyond our expectations. The home is beautiful and also comfortable. There is lots to do nearby as well as plenty of shopping. The canoe was an added bonus. I enjoyed the seasonal flowers so much as we sat outside enjoying the sunshine.
