About this property
Big Sky Beehive Basin Cabin
Note: Winter access requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle with winter tires. Looking for a true Big Sky mountain retreat? Three Sisters’ Ranch sits on 20 acres of Montana wilderness, offering not only unmatched panoramic mountain views but incredible access for backcountry hiking and skiing in Beehive Basin. This 4-bedroom, 4-bath log home comfortably sleeps 9 and is perfect for gathering with friends or family. Enjoy multiple living areas, a 6-person hot tub, private sauna, and laundry room. This home is less than 10 miles from Big Sky’s Town Center and only 3.5 miles from Big Sky Resort for year-round recreation. There is plenty of room for everyone with this 3-story design. The main living area includes a sleek kitchen with high-end appliances, a spacious dining table, breakfast bar, sunroom, and a large wraparound deck with a propane grill. A plush living room, wet bar, office, full bathroom, and guest bedroom (queen bed) complete this level. The upper level boasts a primary bedroom (queen bed) with a full bathroom and soaking tub. The second upstairs bedroom is a perfect kids' bedroom featuring 3 twin beds and an additional full bathroom (youth height shower). The lower level offers a TV room, treadmill, and exercise bike, indoor sauna, and access to the outdoor hot tub. There is also a final queen bedroom with a full bathroom and wood burning fireplace. A quick Google search will show that Beehive Basin Trail, located just below Three Sisters' Ranch, is everything locals and visitors alike look for in a hike. Beehive Basin boasts some of the most breathtaking views Big Sky has to offer. This 6.6 mile round trip hike gains 1,500 feet to a U-shaped glacial cirque with a crystal clear lake that overlooks Lone Peak. It is one of the best places to spot wild flowers in the spring/summer and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing all year round. In the winter, you can also sled, backcountry ski/split board, or snowshoe right from the house.
