Welcome to Waitts Lake Vacation Rental .Open all year ! The water is very shallow where the house is located and swimming is not advised. However boating small fishing boats or kayaks are fine .. absolutely no diving as the water is only about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock.

Rent for two nights, the week, or for the entire month! This could be your romantic getaway!

This two-bedroom two bath home feature's granite counter-tops and cherry maple cabinetry. Leather two seat sofa, bar stools and small table for Playing games . Fresh linens-Washer Dryer-Towels-Micro-Coffee Maker-Wi-Fi Starlink. This is an A-frame home with large windows and a nice deck . The house is shielded with trees and offers privacy from the lake . However, the dock and water is only about 20 feet away . The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the upstairs bedroom has a queen bed.

If you wish to BBQ I do have a propane BBQ

There are two resorts on the lake, Winona North great for swimming and fishing.
There is a small Grocery store within three miles of the cabin.
Chewelah offers many restaurants and Safeway. There are two towns within 10 miles, which offer great amenities such as; grocery stores, restaurants (Mexican, gourmet eatery, or fast food..

During the summer, months enjoy the lake, the Chewelah golf course, or casino. Winter months enjoy skiing at 49 degrees North
The Canadian border is only 60 miles away!

Clean cabin with great lake access

We enjoyed our trip to Eastern Washington and loved having our own beautiful cabin on the lake. The private dock provides great access and kids had a blast learning how to fish, paddle a canoe and watch falling stars. The cabin was very clean, fresh new mattresses, great AC, nice BBQ with propane and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for opening your lake house to our family!

One word about our stay - Fantastic!

My husband and I just got home from a stay at Joyce's lake house. We had such a fantastic time! We relaxed, explored the local towns and marveled over the most majestic sunrises. The cabin is beautiful, clean and has every comfort of home. I typically get a bit homesick on our trips, but I was actually sad to leave this morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and we can't wait for the next time!

Easy check in process. Great communication. House is as expected and no surprises. Lots of pots/pans/cooking items. We were a small group so had plenty of space. I would not bring a family of 6here though. View is great looking over lake. Showers hot and bathrooms clean. I would stay here again.

Girls' get-away

Mom, (75), my sister and I stayed here for our birthday week and found it to be very comfortable, clean and functional - quite homey (and that's saying a lot coming from 3 picky women). The house was much nicer than we expected, and the property was beautiful. The owner, Joyce was amazing with detail, communication and willingness to make our stay comfortable. (Kudos, Joyce - you and your home made our reunion quite memorable!)

weekend get a way

Loved the deck and all the wildlife. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, enjoyed watching the boats on the lake and all the activity. Saturday night neighbors had a party and was very loud until early Sunday morning. But the rest of our stay was great! Owner was very friendly and met us at the house to show us around.

The cabin is very clean, and everything you can think of for convenience is available. Kitchen is well stocked, linens are well stocked, and bathrooms had the little extras you always forget! (Forgot our shampoo:-/) We enjoyed the enormous selection of CD’s and DVD’s To choose from also on the day we decided to not ski. The location and parking are great. The deck is beautiful overlooking the lake, although it was covered with about 10” of snow, lol! I would sure love to stay at this place in the Summer! Thanks Joyce for another great Christmas week at your cabin! We hope to return again next year!

Wonderful private property on a small secluded lake.

What a joy it has been spending three weeks at this wonderful property. We escaped the heat, noise, and congestion of Arizona to come to a beautiful small lake and a home in a secluded lakefront property. Every day we had deer in our yard along with a family of turkeys. Especially interesting were the eagles flying all around us. To wake up in the morning and have our coffee on the great deck was special. This is a clean well-equipped home in an ideal setting. However, best of all is meeting Joyce, the owner. She is amazing. She truly wants all her guests to enjoy her home, She certainly accomplished that goal.

Nice Lake Setting

Nice setting, relaxing, big deck with comfortable chairs. Joyce is a very nice host and person. Joyce responds to all your questions fast. I will recommend this home to friends and family. One negative is the bed downstairs is not real comfortable. The one upstairs looks like it might be better. Maybe should of tried it out. Perfect getaway for relaxing with your spouse. Pictures show home very well and information very correct. Thanks for being a great host Joyce!

Perfect Getaway

We had a girls weekend and this was the prefect place. This time of year it was quite and peaceful every morning. Sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, and listening to the birds was the best way to start the day.

Beautiful lakefront setting

Our stay was wonderful. This pretty lakefront home was clean and comfortable. The owner/host, Evelyn Joyce, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. The area was quiet and beautiful. We hope to visit again soon!

Fantastic Little Place Next to Lake

We stayed during winter to ski 49 Degrees North, but the lake access looked like it could be great in the summer too. Had a pair of bald eagles hanging out for a bit in the yard and lots of ducks and geese on the water.

Beautiful place on the lake!

Great and wonderful place to stay, traveled from Seattle for a local billiards tournament and the place was perfect. Had everything you could possibly want and some!

Wonderful Stay! Great Place!

My husband and I loved our stay! Joyce has done a great job with this place, good use of space, well appointed, well stocked. Each level has a bedroom and a bath. The main area is so nice, with an open kitchen, dining and living area. It's not super big, but plenty good size for two of us and would be fine for 1-2 more. The wall of windows is just wonderful! And the whole place was very clean! We also loved the outside and proximity to the lake - we have paddle boards and it was so nice to be so close to the water to take our boards in and out. The deck was also very comfortable and nice. Joyce was super easy to work with, very responsive and helpful! The lake isn't huge and has quite a bit of boat traffic - I like that this place is closer to the less inhabited side of the lake - we thoroughly enjoyed our water time as well. The water leading out to the end of the end of the dock is very shallow and looked like it would be mushy/muddy, but we just put our boards in at the end of the dock and it worked wonderfully for us. We loved this place and would definitely stay again!

Why they chose this property

This is one of the nicest places at Waitts Lake! You are only 12 feet from the water with a nice deck and a dock , however, it is shallow and not suitable for swimming many people do use flotation devices and Kayaks.
