Juan was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions or problems that we had. My family enjoyed the pool and how close we were to the ocean. Once a week a man would come to the beach side selling candy. He was a favorite of my girls. I loved the location. We saw very few people on the beach. The water was warm and shallow. Loved it!

Great relaxing stay

This property was exactly what we envisioned. Right on the beach, with its own pool, and with tons of space to just relax. Close to Telchac puerto, and with a convenience store and an ATM about a mile away. Juan Carlos the owner was always responsive throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Gorgeous Spot!

Just what we were looking for! A place ON the beach! Amazing views and lots of beach to walk and explore. The pool is nice and perfect size! Lots of shade AND sun on the deck and always a bit of a breeze. We could have used a few more towels and it would be nice if there was coffee there for us but not a biggy!

Relaxing and beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful beach house. The property was exactly as pictured in the listing and the view was phenomenal. We spent most of our time lounging on the back patio, with breaks to cool off in the pool. We stocked up on groceries in Progreso prior to our arrival. You can also walk or drive to the nearby TechnoHotel for food.

The place was very clean and Juan Carlos was on top of things. We were very happy with our stay.

The property is good, need a bit of maintenance as some parts of the property were not in excellent condition (mosquito screens, and doors opening. But in general, it was ok.

My husband and I have never visited the Yucatan and wanted to spend out 25th anniversary somewhere new. We couldn't have been more pleased. Juan Carlos was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and see. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we could have wanted. The location was perfect. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood but only minutes from Progreso and Merida. We enjoyed our time so much that we are now looking for a place to buy so we can call it home. San Benito Beach House

Beautiful location! This house has amazing beach views. The ocean is right at your doorstep… the water level is shallow with sand bars and warm water! The outdoor living area is large and has an unfiltered pool to dip in. There are tvs and air conditioners in all the upstairs bedrooms. Juan Carlos installed a dryer at our request! We found him to be extremely helpful and he was very quick to respond if we had any questions while we were there. He has a grounds keeper named Gregario who was on the spot anytime we needed assistance. Having our own car rental was key to staying in this location. The kitchen has basic utensils and appliances that could use an upgrade however we managed fine. There is construction close by and a bread truck arrived daily at 5pm. We got to buy delicious fresh baked goods daily from the driveway! What a treat!

Excelente lugar y ubicacion

Nos quedamos una semana co.pleta en la casa y todo estuvo de maravilla. Hubo una tormenta tropical y se fue el Internet, pero hay internet satelital de respaldo, lo que está de maravilla. Salimos a pescar con el cuidador de la casa que resulta ser pescador, y es una experiencia que vale la pena y recomiendo mucho.

Little piece of paradise

First in for most I would like to thank Juan Carlos for opening up his home to my wife and I i’ve been coming to the Yucatán since 2009 with our destination being Chelem which in and by itself is a nice little area to get away but my wife happen to come across this house and I’m glad she did everything Juan Carlos says in the description holds true if you walk down the steps towards the water to your left About 100 yards down you’ll find two wooden swings also there is a beach club where you can find the waiter Alberto walking the beach going up the houses that are occupied you can order food and drinks he’ll bring them right to the house found that to be convenient it’s a beautiful area with beautiful water and beautiful sunsets we really enjoyed our stay thank you again Juan Carlos

I really enjoyed the house, it needs a little update, the beds were not comfortable but we had a good time, I think the house is pretty descent for the price you pay. The owner is really nice and he tried to have everything setup for us before the checking!

Hi!! My name is Juan Carlos... I live in Merida, Mexico.. Mechanical engineer, 49, I love being active all time.. I work in Merida as well. I built the house in 2009, and love being there for weekends and summer. I like to have it always neat and ready to use it. I love water sports like skiing and fishing. That´s why I love my beachhouse so much. I can do both all time.

Why they chose this property

I bulit the house to spend some quality time with my Family and friends.... I love to relax with the ocean view. I spend hours just watching the see, the birds, the dolphins and other nature spectacles around like hummingbirds that gather by dozens to feed from flowes on the house surroundings.

What makes this property unique

1. Unlimited Fresh water...... Most houses on the Yucatan beaches DO NOT have fresh water available at all... So they have to purchase water taanks every 4 or 5 days ($40.} USD each).
2. Few people around.... A perfect place to escape from city crowds.
3.- The pool... Perfect depth to stay hours watching the view and relaxing...
4.- The sea... Very shallow and calmed (specially on mrnings)... Water temperature is great from March until November.... You can stay there for hours and hours!!
5.- The view from inside the house..... You have a panoramic view to the ocean from virtually all house..
6.- Social Area.... You have enough room for at least 15 to 20 people to gather and enjoy the place...
