The chalet has been built by skiers for skiers featuring an open kitchen with in-floor heating, dining area and a bar which has numerous uses from music, extra bar fridge or extra seating area for the kids/teens at dinner. The dining table seats 8 and we have additional stools to fit more around the table. There are two bathrooms in Suite A (one on each level) each with in-floor heating. Each suite has a laundry complete with washer and dryer. Both suites have hanging areas to dry ski gear or washing. The entrance to Suite A opens into a boot room before you enter the kitchen.

Snow Pines estate is one of the original neighbourhoods of Big White. We love our location as it is out of the village but still close to the three main lifts (Snowghost, Ridge and Plaza) which access the mountain (leading off to Gem or the main mountain) and Plaza lift. The Plaza lift allows you to go up to the village for ski lessons, equipment or a meal. The plaza lift also allows you to access Bullet Lift which offers night skiing. Please note that you must be on skis to catch the lift.
For those who enjoy stretching their legs, you can enjoy the walk (or snowshoe) along the lit Snowpines Walk to the village (it is about a comfortable 20 minutes walk). The gondola in the village takes you down to the Nordic skiing and snowshoe area, tubing, children's Skidoo, ice climbing, horse and dog sled rides, skating at Happy Valley.
For the non-skiers, beginner skiers or simply tired skiers there is a shuttle bus to and from Snowpines to the Village.
All of the village, Happy Valley, Black Forest, Gem Lake can be reached by a short car ride. The final price will include GST, PST and MRDT tax, all required to be collected by us by the Canadian Revenue Agency.
