This guest house is truly, as the name states, a Rural Missouri Gem! From welcoming and comfortable decor to generous amenities, this host has thought of everything! The guest house was meticulously clean and even though the outside temperature was extremely cold, we were warm and cozy inside! This thoughtful and kind host has every need and detail covered....and this little Gem is indeed appropriately named!

We had a wonderful stay. Judith’s place is comfortable, clean and quiet-exactly what we expected. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes & full size appliances. Beds were comfortable & bathroom was stocked with nice towels & a few toiletries. Comfortable couch & good tv-perfect place to relax after a busy day. We definitely would stay here again! Perfect place for a Hamilton visit!

My husband Jack and I live in a very small rural community in Missouri. We love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of small town living. We love to trout fish, garden, travel and being with family.

Why they chose this property

We built this property in 2014 with the intention of using it for storage and also a workshop. Our plans gradually changed and we decided to convert the property into a guest house for travelers. We love to meet people and our decision has been perfect.

What makes this property unique

Our guest house is quiet, peaceful and well furnished. Our kitchen is fully equipped for the person that would like to cook during their stay. A garage is available for a car or truck, even a small RV. We are close to Missouri Star Quit and also to the Amish community of Jamesport, Mo.
