The location is excellent for Sequoia National Park. It’s awkward if you are 3 couples wanting 3 bathrooms. You have to split up on 2 levels with seperate entrances. It’s a little hard to find. The place looks run down and can use some updating inside and out, and a thorough cleaning.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we're glad you enjoyed our home's excellent location near Sequoia National Park, we're genuinely disappointed to read your review, as it doesn't reflect the experience we work so hard to provide our guests. I'd like to respectfully clarify a few things for future travelers. Regarding the location and directions: Three Rivers is a beautiful mountain town, and our home is located in one of its main residential neighborhoods. We provide detailed, step-by-step arrival instructions, including a screenshot of the exact Google Maps route to the property. After welcoming guests through multiple vacation rental platforms, we've consistently received positive feedback about how clear and helpful our directions are. In fact, many guests specifically thank us for making their arrival so easy. Regarding the split-level layout: Our listing clearly explains that the home has two separate levels with independent exterior entrances, along with the bedroom and bathroom arrangements on each floor. This is something we are very transparent about before booking. Many of our guests, particularly larger families and groups, actually love this layout because it provides additional privacy while allowing everyone to stay together on one property. We understand this arrangement may not suit every group, which is precisely why we make it clear in our description so guests can determine whether the home meets their needs before reserving. Regarding the home's condition and cleanliness: Our property is a charming, established mountain home, not a newly constructed modern residence, and we represent it accordingly through our listing description and photos. We take tremendous pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Cleanliness is especially important to us, so we're concerned by your comments, particularly since no specific issues were identified or brought to our attention during your stay. We also want to emphasize that we received no communication from you regarding any concerns throughout your visit. Had you reached out, we would have gladly addressed any issues within our ability to ensure you had a wonderful experience. Finally, we'd like to share that this is our family home, and we are a small, family-owned operation, not a large vacation rental corporation. We personally care about our property, our guests, and the experiences we provide. We welcome constructive feedback and are always looking for ways to improve, but we also believe reviews should fairly reflect what was advertised and provide specific, actionable feedback when something falls short. We are proud to share our mountain home with visitors exploring the beauty of Sequoia National Park and Three Rivers, and we're grateful to the many wonderful guests who have appreciated its unique character, spectacular views, and peaceful setting. We wish you all the best in your future travels. Warm regards, David

We loved our stay. Everyone was happy and pleased that I rented this place. The view was amazing. The only thing that needed some attention was the grill, it was not cleaned, and if possible a light at the grill site would be nice for night barbecue. Thank you!

Incredible views

Celebrated my parents’ anniversary with the whole family including their 4 grandkids. We enjoyed being able to visit Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks during the day and enjoyed the incredible views from the property of the mountains and lake each evening!

3 Rivers Gem

This house had a great setup with plenty of socialization spaces while still allowing privacy for a group of 7 adults. The view from the house was stunning and we were treated to 2 spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend for anyone looking to plan a trip to Sequioa NP.

Some mixing bowls for cooking and better serving spoons would be helpful. It was not clear where to find our sleeping pillows otherwise the dishes and glasses were all nice and sufficient. One dish towel was not succulent for wiping all the pots and pans either. If it would have been cold we saw no blankets. Overall though it was well stocked.

House with Excellent view close to Sequoia National park

We had very good time in David’s house during our trip to Sequoia. We were 14 people group with kids of different age. The house had ample space for all of us and the best part was the breathtaking view of the mountains. This house is very close to sequoia park too. David was an excellent host, he is very responsive and always tried his best to make our stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. One of the highlights was the wraparound deck on three sides of the house—it offered stunning views in every direction. We arrived in the evening and caught a beautiful sunset, and the early morning sunrise was equally breathtaking. The location is peaceful and surrounded by lush trees and charming neighboring homes, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The last quarter-mile of the drive was a bit tricky—it’s a narrow, hilly road with some rough patches—but it was manageable and definitely worth it for the views and the setting.Overall, a fantastic stay and a great place to unwind in nature!
