Cozy place; great location

I’ll definitely be back! Great cozy place on the water. Had a grill which was an added asset. Great location and easy to walk around town.

Loved our stay

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Clean, quiet and beautiful sunsets. Made new friends at the dock, will definitely be returning.

I have lung issues and the room smelled musty and I had a difficult time breathing. We never spent a night in the room and left the key in the drop box the second day. There was not refund and we were out over 700.

Calm, clean, and charming

Out stay was very nice. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable, communication was quick. There are some good local options for eating out, and the Publix is a short drive. Highly recommended.

Charming and Cozy

The Redfish Room is a charming and cozy little studio with a delightful screened in porch attached. The deck provides a lovely place to sit and relax. It is within walking distance of everything in Matlacha. It is small so it pays to travel light and the Wi-Fi is not very reliable so it pays to spend your time outdoors instead of on your computer.

The property was exactly as pictured. The location is walkable to everything Matlacha has to offer and an easy drive to local area’s. Already looking forward to a return visit.

Waterfront Delight

We loved our cozy apartment on the water--saw lots of fish jumping and also a dolphin while sitting out on the deck. Being within walking distance cof the shops and restaurants was a real plus. Also we were off the main road so it was very peaceful😉

Met some great people.

Met two other solo travelers and we hung out together fishing, grilling, partying, listening to music etc. Fishermans paradise forces community among travelers so is a great venue for meeting new people.

Fishing matlacha

The studio was a great place to stay. Enjoyed the screen room when it was raining. Marco and Martina were awesome hosts. Enjoyed talking with Marco about fishing. Would definitely stay there again. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Wonderful Stay

Excellent, quiet getaway in serene setting. Everything is just as stated in the listing. Quaint, clean room with deck on the water and screened room overlooking that. Communication with both the host and property manager is top notch, pre reservation all the way through check out. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Thank You!

Centrally Located to Travel the Area

Very nice and cozy, Marcus was always available to answer any questions that we had. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and casting fishing lines while also tanning. Property is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and ice cream parlor. It is also a short drive to Bookelia in Pine Island were we took a boat charter to Cabbage Key and were lucky enough to see dolphins following the boat and plying with the boat's wake. Would stay again if we returned to the area.

We enjoyed our stay in the redfish room.

We had a nice visit , beautiful view from the deck and really loved those rocking recliners. We would definitely come back again. A few suggestions would be to fix the screens in the red fish room... Mosquitoes and no-see ums were a problem that week ...and maybe an outlet in the bathroom would be great!

Nice little place with everything you need. Having kayaks on property was a plus. Perfect are to go out fishing or just paddle out into the mangroves.

Changes in latitude - changes in attitude! Great location-easy walking to all that Matlacha has to offer! Nice deck on the water to relax or fish. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay longer next time!
