This is a short 2 block walk to the Courtland Grand where we were attending a convention. Considering the included parking and overall cost, it was a reasonable value. That said, the unit seems to be in process for some minor interior renovations. There were unpainted spackle patches on the walls, uninstalled closet hanging rods, and bathroom towels fixtures that were haphazardly installed. Positive notes, check in was easy, the bed was comfortable, and it’s a nice sized space. It met our needs.

The room itself is much nicer than the building implies. It was located within a 5 minute walk from a local convention.

THIS PROPERTY IS NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME AVOID!!!!

We had an absolutely horrible experience. The building isdefinitely in need of delayed maintenance. The kindest description of the neighborhood would be "sketchy" our experience was that the entry code did not work, when the security tried to reach the emergency number for the owner, it was no longer a working number. We spent over two hours waiting for a response. Finally called VRBO support. The property manager gave us a different unit. The apartment was freezing cold, no extra blankets to be found. An ancient small plug in wall heater BUT NO SMOKE ALARM IN THE UNIT. These guys are a disgrace to VRBO. I would not consider renting here until there were at least 4 verifiable good reviews showing that things have changed. I definitely would not advise a single female traveler to use this building.

We LEFT the night we arrived!

Horrible place. Most garage spaces were unnumbered, with signs that you would be towed if parked in wrong space “assigned,” garage entrance stairwell that you must use to enter the property was very dark and filthy, and forced you to exit the stairwell and go BACK outside into UNLIT dark garage and re-enter stairwell again. the 3rd floor hallway where her apt is- had walls that were literally falling apart, most doors in hall were unnumbered, next door down had a red legal warning sign that stated “stay out” and the apt was “DANGEROUS,” our apt front door wouldn’t even shut completely, and top lock was completely ripped off. Moving blankets used as walls inside elevator. Photos taken as proof. Very sketchy renters including a guy and his stripper, plus more similar clientele. Nothing felt safe here. Read terrible reviews after arriving that a guest had been robbed there, etc. Very unsafe and dilapidated environment. DO NOT STAY HERE. Vrbo dismissed our complaints, and had zero follow up with me or interest in my traumatic experience. I’ve never had an experience like this before. Host refusing to refund us money- dispute filed.
