You can enjoy walking and biking trails at White Rock Lake; rent paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes. Enjoy the Dallas Arboretum, which also has an outdoor concert series in the Spring and Fall. You're 1.5 miles from the best dog park in Dallas and .5 mile from Lakewood Park, which is connected to the lake on Williamson Road. Plus, you're only a few miles from restaurants and nightlife in Lakewood, Greenville Avenue, North Park Mall, and Knox/Henderson. The Dallas Arts District is only 3 exits South on I-75 from Mockingbird. It's one of the largest in the country! Including, The Dallas Aquarium, Perot Natural Science Museum, The Myerson Symphony Center, Winspear Opera House, House of Blues, South Side Ballroom, Dallas City Performance Hall, Majestic Theatre, and much more in the surrounding areas of Uptown, Downtown, Deep Ellum, and Trinity Groves. Beautiful view. A little weird.

Overall beautiful property in very convenient location in Lakewood. Owner requires extra liability coverage in addition to standard VRBO coverage and has a separate liability agreement/ rules that you are required to sign: some highlights include leaving sheets on the beds so that they can be inspected for stains after you leave, acknowledging that your coming and going through the front door will be actively monitored by owner by the "Ring doorbell" to make sure you're not hosting a party or letting extra people in, and agreeing not to film pornography in the hot tub... Overall the amount of rules and monitoring kept us from feeling comfortable

Excellent Experience!!

Matt has a beautiful house with an amazing deck that is well stocked for an extended stay with our family! Matt was so easy to get in touch with and proactively reached out with upcoming items we needed to know, etc. We would definitely suggest this place for anyone looking for a short term or longer term stay in the Dallas area!!

NEXT !dont waste your time unless you want a home that will smell dog

The house is Misrepresented ....dirty and smell dog, and you cannot figure this out from the pictures ! so dont waste your time the house is very dark overall not good for families as it is described. The owner have probably only rented for pets owners dogs air everywhere. the ameneties are average meanwhile it is trying to fake this is a luxurious home it is not at all The owner respond very fast but does not care about your traveller experience....no consideration at all. so NEXT is your right move and your best bet, hands down!

Very responsive host

I made a reservation for a family that needed temporary accommodations while their home was being repaired. From my end as the booking entity, it was truly a pleasure to work with the host. He wase very responsive, and it made it really easy for us to secure extension and have our questions answered. Also the family enjoyed their stay - they stayed there for a good amount of time. I wish most host were as responsive as Matt. Thank you!

GREAT Place for extended family stay

We rented this house for an extended stay over the summer. It was perfect for our family of four and roomy enough to entertain when friends came up to visit our "home away from home". We found it to be completely accessible to all of the places we wanted/needed to go. Tons of awesome restaurants, North Park Mall ( yay Lego Store!!) and the AMC theatre, Whole Foods, Dallas Arboretum, The Perot, DMA everything was a quick and easy drive:) the neighborhood is safe and quiet and full of character. The inside of the house was spacious, clutter free and clean. The hard wood floors and sealed concrete floor in the great room made for super easy cleaning!! The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and always available should anything arise. I would definitely rent this house again.

Why they chose this property

I fully renovated this house in 2016. Including adding 1,000 sq. ft. back addition. I also pre-wired the house and installed a Control 4 distributed audio and video system, which allows you to stream video or audio to any of the 3 Smart TV's or indoor/outdoor mounted speakers.

The outside shaded decks provide a unique and relaxing experience, anytime of the year!
