About the host

Host profile image
Hello, I'm Kara the owner and host of the Creekside Cabin Getaway. This cabin isn't just a rental for us, it is our family cabin, a place where we make fond memories everytime we stay. I always say that this is my "Happy Place" and now we share it with our guests. Over the past year we've hosted over 15 guest bookings who have also called it their "Happy Place" and given us top reviews on other platforms. I love that we have been able to share our place with other families where they have made memories to last a lifetime.

Why they chose this property

We knew that we wanted land or a cabin in Tennessee and we have always loved the Smoky Mountains. When we saw this cabin, we fell in love instantly with it. The rural setting was such a change from the hectic tourist areas. Seeing horses as you drive down the road, hearing cows moo in the mornings, and seeing deer down at our creek and an occasional bear all make this location special.

I fell in love with the creek spanning the property like a moat and my husband fell in love with the mountain view. My children love exploring the 6 acres and playing by the creek. You feel like you are in a different world when you are at the cabin.

What makes this property unique

Our property is truly a family cabin so you'll find that it is furnished and stocked with items you would want at your own family cabin. It is clean with comfortable furniture and linens but not over the top and fancy. Our parents, kids, and cousins all come here to relax, play, and connect with nature. You'll love this property if you are looking to slow down and take a break from the stress of life.
