The Space

The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Each bedroom has a closet and there is also a closet in the living room. Ironing board and iron are kept in the living room closet. The kitchen comes with dishes, wine, champagne and drinking glasses, cups (mugs), microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffeemaker, Starbucks coffee and a selection of teas. Pots, saucepans, frying pans. There is a side by side 2-door refrigerator that dispenses ice and water, washer and dryer and self cleaning gas range. The apartment is stocked with towels (bath, hand and washcloths), linens (with a hamper for used items in hall linen closet). Each room (except bathroom) is air-conditioned. Each bedroom and the living room comes with flat screen TV and all premium, local and regional channels.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the apartment, and the backyard but not the pool.

Interaction with Guests

Host lives in downstairs apartment and generally there is someone available either on the telephone or at the location.

The Neighborhood

Hasbrouck Heights is a very nice, safe, residential town with friendly locals. We have many tourists in town due to our reasonable pricing with great access to New York City. The buses (163 and 164 Local) to New York Port Authority is located half block from the front door! Bus schedules are in the apartment for the convenience of our guests. There is a supermarket and fresh vegetable market as well as Dunkin' Donuts, excellent pizza, bagels, burgers and ice cream as well as a 7-Eleven (24-hours) within a quarter mile of the apartment. Restaurants (Mediterranean, Chinese, Thai, American), Post Office, banks, pharmacies, hospital, police and fire departments all within 1 mile.

Getting Around

We are very close to the New York buses as well as easy access to 5 highways (Rte. 17, Rte. 46, I-80, New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway). Off-street parking is provided in the driveway. There is no on-street parking between 2 AM and 6 AM (except with permission from the police in an emergency). Enterprise, Avis, Budget car rentals (competitive pricing) are located in close proximity (Enterprise offers pick-up and drop-off service). There are local taxi services or Uber available.
