1: Yes, the docks are damaged. I ordered 2 new floating sections and an entirely new dock on the far side of the island in September 2022. My promised install date of July 2023 has now been delayed til June 2024. I did not cause the high water which damaged my docks and I can't make the repairs happen any sooner than Docks and Lifts can schedule me. 2: The septic system works as it should. I request that guests not flush excess toilet paper, baby wipes, and feminine hygiene products. My guest messaged me saying they hadn't been able to flush, do dishes, or shower for two days. I immediately phoned my plumber. He came early the next morning and cleared a "blockage". The bill for his prompt service visit was $450. Obviously something was flushed and my guests knew that and tried for two days to fix it themselves. What other reason could there be for not immediately asking for help? 3: Subpar cleanliness. My new cleaners were not doing as thorough a job as I would have liked and as my guests have a right to expect. As I do not live in Ontario, I appreciated those guests who told me about the problem. The cleaners have greatly improved their efforts.
