3 Bedroom Loft overlooking water

Welcome to our charming 3-bedroom bungalow overlooking a beautiful lake. Relax on the covered deck and take in the stunning view while sipping on your favorite drink. The kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with a king bed in one and queens in the remaining two. A futon in the living room provides additional sleeping space.

Tucked away in a high-end, quiet subdivision, our property offers a serene country-like setting. You may even have some curious ducks and geese visit you in the yard.

Enjoy access to the entire unit and yard during your stay. There is also an efficiency unit on the lower level with a separate entrance and patio.

For any questions or assistance, I am just a call or text away at 618-781-0716. But remember to look out the window first – you might get distracted by the picturesque surroundings!

Don’t let the peaceful location fool you, we are only 3 miles from downtown Collinsville and just a short 10-minute drive to Fairview Heights or O'Fallon. So whether you need to do some shopping at the mall or grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants, you are just a quick drive away.

Please note that this property is not accessible by public transportation, so you will need a car, Uber, or taxi to get around. And finally, we must mention that this is a two-family residence, with my mother-in-law residing in the lower unit. But don’t worry, she keeps to herself and you won’t even know she’s there. So book your stay with us and experience the best of both worlds – the tranquility of the countryside and the convenience of being close to all the action.

Exceeded my expectations

My family and I had a great stay here. Beautiful location, super easy to navigate to the Metro Stl area. The place is nice and clean. Great value, good communication, clean, safe place to stay.

Wonderful Stay!

What a beautiful place! We had such a great time and thank you for having this perfect t get away away from the city, but close enough to get to the city! Only suggestion is to have a check-out checklist as well as some recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area.

Fun Family memories :)

15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds.

We had a hiccup initially with our stay but the owner was very accommodating. She was communicative and worked everything out with us. The property is beautiful and was very spacious. Would definitely reccomend this place!

Nice property and in a good location

Owner was nice and answered my questions. It would have been nice if there was another bath room or powder room, but overall the property was clean and in a very nice area. The neighborhood is a new development with nice homes. I enjoyed having coffee on the back porch overlooking the pond.

An Idyllic Lakeside Retreat.

Our stay at this quaint property was nothing short of perfect. Nestled in a serene and quiet countryside, this charming 3-bedroom bungalow was just what my brother and I needed for our 5-night stay. The home was only a few minutes away from visiting our parents in Collinsville; the purpose of our trip. What truly set it apart was the seamless blend of homely comforts and vacation luxury. Very clean and well-maintained, it felt like our own slice of countryside paradise, where nature and relaxation harmoniously intertwined. The host was accommodating and responsive to our questions throughout the stay. We definitely intend to stay there again when we return in the spring, provided it’s available.

Extremely Comfortable Stay

From the get go the host was wonderful. Communicated quickly and often! Home is off the beaten pat in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. Close to anything you want to get to! We had a baby shower for our son and dil in St Louis. Excellent location and really beats staying on the city. Extremely safe neighborhood. Husband and son fished in the adjacent beautiful lake. DIL and I walked her dogs and saw som beautiful horses grazing. Could not have asked for a better, safer or cleaner place and this hosts tops them all! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Peaceful Experience

My husband and I plus two adult children and their spouses and two dogs stayed two nights. We attended a Cardinals game Thursday night and Friday night went to listen to a friend sing/play. Otherwise, we just relaxed in this peaceful setting. The open kitchen/dining/living was a great meeting place, but we mostly enjoyed the covered deck that overlooks the lake. The rooster is quite entertaining! The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. Since there is only one bathroom, it is nice that it is large with double sinks. Highly recommend! PS: The actual address will get you there on Google maps and within two house on Maps.

Quiet, peaceful, well stocked, and comfortable!

We have a family gathering to celebrate a child's birthday as well as Mother's Day. We had plenty of room, everything we needed (well stocked). Yes, there is only one bathroom however it never seemed to be an issue for us even with having several people. We loved that it was pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog!! We enjoyed the lake, fishing and swimming! Caught some bass! I greatly enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch over looking the lake. The owner, Heidi, rode around in her golf cart watering all the property flowers in the mornings and was always gracious and sweet with a hello and a good morning! She made sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves. We will be back next year for sure!!!

Best family vacation ever!!!!

This property and location was amazing! This was exactly what I wanted for our family. We are raising 6 adopted special needs children (20, 15, 10, 7, 4.5 and 4) and instead of constantly stimulating them with only theme parks, we wanted to expose them to a different way of life. We DID do Six Flags, zoo and Raging Rivers, but over a 10 day stay, we had plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors. The kids fished and caught (and released) many fish as the lake was well-stocked. They jumped off the dock and swam, caught a toad and numerous baby frogs, met new family members at a family reunion under an awesome pavilion, made s'mores around a fire and crashed every night tired from kid adventures! We had a few glitches when we got there and needed help and the owners were so helpful and responsive. We loved this spot and were fortunate to have found an affordable, beautiful location that easily accommodated our large family. You won't be disappointed! Perfect!

Don't judge a VRBO by it's cover

This VRBO is located on the second floor of a converted garage. It is a beautiful remodel however when pulling into the subdivision with half million dollar homes all around and GPS says "you've arrived" and we're sitting in front of 10 rolls of hay and a machine shed, I'll admit I did begin to panic. The decorative glass in the door to the upstairs/loft was also broken which gave it even more questionable curb appeal. Once inside everything was as it was described. My boys had a blast swimming (at our own risk) in the pond, sleeping accommodations were good (the beds were VERY soft) and the balcony amongst the trees was a perfect retreat. We split our time between Lebanon, IL and St Louis and thought it was a perfect location to get to both easily! We'd go back if ever our travels brought us back to this area. Thank you!

Holiday House

We stayed here over Christmas. We needed a place where we could come together as a family and celebrate. We were greeted with a Christmas tree and bottle of wine. The house was clean and warm. We didn’t use the fireplace as it was wood burning and it was too cold to enjoy the deck, but the view was pretty and we enjoyed watching all the birds out back. We used the kitchen extensively and had no issues. This was a very nice place and we would surely return when coming back to the Metro East.
