Enjoyed our stay immensely. Great quiet, location. Very nice cabin, comfortable, clean & well stocked with kitchen necessities. We especially liked the ability to bring our pet. Host was quickly responsive to one minor issue. We will definitely be returning!

We were very happy with our stay in Germfask. The house was perfect for what we needed. Clean and spacious. Very toddler friendly- she loved the big yard to run around in. Will definitely be looking to stay here for next years trip.

The house had a great cabin feel and had plenty of room for our puppies to run around. Very comfortable and relaxing for us. If I had a question the host, John, was quick to get back with me. We have no complaints and if we get back into that area we would stay there again. I will also recommend it to anyone who is traveling in that area to stay there.

John's rental was a perfect home for our family! TONS of parking and space for the kids to play! The home felt rustic as we love being in the UP it just gives a great vibe! Beds were comfortable which is a HUGE plus. Everything is nice and clean- All and all would stay here again!

We had a great experience & would recommend to others! This home was about 45 mins away from all of the places we explored in the UP so we just had to plan ahead, but other than that it was perfect for our family of 7. We appreciated having a well stocked kitchen & owner was very nice to work with.

Great place! Clean, great green space, and an all around enjoyable stay.Living in Wisconsin and having all my family in Michigan, this is a great midway point. Ideal for a relaxing retreat, surrounded by beautiful outdoors and access to unlimited miles of off road trail. Helpful hints: Bring fan (if you’re into that), coffee maker does not work the greatest, no grill spatula and master bedroom only has one plug in, so bring a multi-connect or surge protector if desired. None of these items impacted our stay at all! Beautiful little cabin that can accommodate multiple bodies. Communication is excellent. Will definitely rent again!

Perfect location for driving to many spots in the U.P. Let's face it, you have to drive a distance in the U.P. to see a lot of cool stuff and this cabin was right in the middle of a lot of cool stuff. Germfask is a small town as most are in the U.P. but it is a great area to start out from. The cabin was very comfortable for our party of five. It is a basic cabin with just enough to take it to the next level. It is a new building that is set up very well. Bedrooms are small but my bed was the best bed I have slept in in a VRBO. The kitchen has just the basics for dishes so plan on bringing the extras like saran wrap and reynolds wrap. The bathroom was very nice. It has a large tub and shower which is different than what is shown in the picture on their listing. The house is also a dark sage green. Their is a large yard with woods on the sides and back. We sat outside for hours and watched multiple birds and saw a deer as well. We brought lawn chairs but there is a picnic table outside. The television and internet worked great and the lighting in the living room and kitchen was also great no matter where you were sitting. The cabin is in a rural setting not far from town. I highly recommend the cabin and we would love to stay there again.
