This Tahoe Donner vacation home will make you feel right at home!
Enjoy the warm mountain atmosphere and beautiful decor on one of the best and quietest streets in Tahoe Donner.

• In summer, relax on a recliner in the backyard, play a round of horseshoes, go hiking, trekking, sailing on Lake Donner, or Lake Tahoe. Mountain biking on nearby trails. Currently not advised due to fire-ban: roast s'mores in the fire pit at the end of day. Do s'mores on indoor fireplace instead!

• In winter, have your kids sled on the golf course not far from the house, or, at the Trout Creek Recreation Center, about 8min drive. Northstar is a 20min drive. After skiing, relax in the cozy living room with natural wood burning stove, soak in the master bath jetted bath tub, play a game of Foosball in the loft, or board games or a video game on the PS3.

- Queen bunk in bunk bedroom: sleeps 4 younger children, or 2 older children
- Queen in second bedroom: sleeps 2
Groups larger than 8 not advised. With small children maximum occupancy could be 8 with 4 adults and 4 children. We reserve the right to ask you to cancel your reservation request in case of too large a group and ask for your understanding.

• Cabin is located at the far end of an already very quiet street, there is very little traffic

Trout Creek Recreational Center
A state-of-the-art fitness facility offers a weight room, cardio room, fitness classes, recreation pool, adult lap pool, steam room, spas, massage program, personal training and more. At Trout Creek Recreation Center, you can work up a sweat or soak in the hot tub after a day of play in the mountains. Little ones will enjoy a modern playground with plenty of fun features. The Trout Creek Rec-Center provides two community pools, hot tubs also in winter). The Rec Center charges a set fee per person per day.

Tahoe Donner Tennis Center
Everything you need to fulfill all your tennis needs is right here, including open play, adult and junior clinics, a pro shop, professional racket stringing, lessons, events and more.

Donner Lake Beach Club Marina: Dinghy and cat-sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, summer lake water is fantastic! Located on Donner Lake, witness stunning views and a friendly atmosphere. A boat ramp, sandy beach, changing rooms and café are among the offered facilities. Stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, windsurfers, and Hobie sailboats are available for rent. Special events are held all summer.

Recreational programs and events
Family movies, trivia, bingo, music concerts, snowshoe hikes and holiday events keep the place exciting. Swim lessons and programs are all about fitness and fun. Summer day camps include beach outings, rock climbing, river rafting, hiking and exploring the Tahoe National Forest.

Truckee foosball cabin

Nice location. A bit on the old side. Lighting was poor. TV was supposed to be dish but had been changed to Apple tv which requires a subscription which we don’t have or want. One bathroom faucet nearly coming undone. The dryer didn't work well when trying to do sheets and towels for exiting requirement.steps on deck loose and one is missing. Almost fell.was not the cleanest i have ever been in. Floors were dirty. Owner should check out their service for that ,especially since we paid for it in our rental fees. Very quiet and serene.was ok but not worth the money.

Great Stay on Swiss Lane

Perfect month at the Foosball House! House equipped as advertised. Owners extremely responsive to questions and requests. Had a problem with the microwave and replacement was delivered as fast as Amazon could get there! Swiss Lane is a very quiet street and beautiful too! Golf course was closed so we were able to walk the path. Golf Marshall thanked us for staying on the path. Thanks for sharing your home.

Cozy Cabin in Tahoe Donner

The cabin is obviously intended for far more than just 2 ... but we wanted a touch more room as we stayed for 3 weeks and our son & his girlfriend joined us for 3 days as well. Homey and warm cabin with comfortable beds and all we needed for a nice retreat. Yvonne & Soren were very responsive (we had some wifi connection confusion and they called right away to help navigate) and they were communicative leading up to our stay. We used the fitness center guest cards almost every day of our stay. We didn't have an Apple TV account to log in on the TV but we brought a Chromecast which enabled us to watch DTV and Netflix. We had a great stay ... and our pup enjoyed it too!

We are a family of six and visited Tahoe Donner often throughout the years. We love the peace and beauty of the mountains. Hiking and swimming in summer, or just relaxing in the backyard, skiing in winter, and in 2012 decided to make our cabin available to our guests and their families to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

We love Tahoe Donner to give our kids more opportunity to experience nature year-round, and to create a family tradition in the mountains. We looked at many places, but this one made us feel at home the minute we walked in.

The Alder Creek Adventure Center is just a short drive away from the cabin, providing access to absolutely gorgeous cross-country well maintained slopes. We will try snow-shoeing for the first time this season. In summer there is mountain biking, an equestrian center, and the Donner Lake Marina has a fantastic family-oriented beach with tons of activities for kids while we take a time-out with our reading materials.

What makes this property unique

Thoughtful decorations, the flat lot towards the end of the street, the big backyard, and the general build-quality made us cherish this house. Whether lying in the hammock in the backyard (currently not available) and listening to the birds, or playing a round of foosball, vacation bliss is all around you!

There are two Tahoe-Donner guest cards in the house for use by our guests. With these cards, our guests enjoy access to Tahoe Donner amenities: Beach Club Marina, Snowplay, Northwoods Pool, Trout Creek Recreation Center and the Tennis Center. These cards provide access to above private amenities, where guest access fees will apply. Guests age 7 and up pay an $8 daily entrance fee with member and $12 daily fee without a member. Up to four guests may gain access on a single transferable guest card, hence up to 8 guests can access amenities at a given time. This is a pretty cool arrangement, we love going to the rec center's gym, enjoying the hot-tubs after a workout or apre-ski. There are two huge heated outdoor pools as well. This is a unique place.

In summer, we love driving 10min. to Donner Lake, a private marina and lovely beach also operated by TD recreation. It is super easy to rent a kayak, catamaran, or other toys available for rent or checkout. There are unique boulders on the beach, and a fun bathing platform. This is a special place.

There is great walking & hiking around Donner Lake and your dogs are welcome (love it). There are usually a couple other friendly dogs around to play with.

I am sorry we can't cater to cats as owner has a severe cat hair allergy.
