We had a wonderful visit. This is the perfect place for family gatherings. We enjoyed nature walks, seeing cows and goats and the beautiful stars at night. There 14 of us and the house was perfect with plenty of beds for sleeping.

Neat and clean. Had everything we needed.
40+ of us gathered for a 90th birthday party for my dad. Ample room for everyone & parking. Lots of room for kids to run & play. Everyone really enjoyed it.
This amazing property is a gem. 8 adults & 3 kids were able to explore the vast nature this property has to offer. The house was big enough to for our family to have privacy when desired. Lots of room to encourage interaction with music, games and just relaxing. The plus was NO TV but internet if you needed it. Big porches allowed people to sit outside if it rained. Definitely recommend.

High Hope Ranch was all our family hoped for and more, beautiful area, peaceful and calming.
We had a lovely sibling gathering at High Hope Ranch. Nine of stayed in Habari House which easily accommodated eight women and one man. It was decorated in a very homey manner, immaculate and well stocked with the usual supplies one might use. We spent a lot of time outdoors, on the large front porch, in the cozy outside area by the kitchen door, and in a big circle under the big tree next to the house (lots of easy to move chairs are available at the house). Two other family members stayed at beautiful Kasa Casa which easily accommodated us for a wonderful meal they prepared for the group. It was great to have Sandra join us that evening as we learned more about the ranch and the area. We didn't wander outside too much but I'd love to go back in cooler weather and do some exploring on all the trails the ranch has. I think I heard everyone of our group say it was the perfect place for our time together and everyone was happy with our choice. Truly a lovely, peaceful setting and a big comfortable house. Thank you so much to Sandra for all she did to help make it the perfect weekend.

Immaculately clean Ranch Escape!
We spent 2 nights at Habari House with 3 families in total. We had the best stay! The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. We had 6 adults and 6 children with us and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and the kids could be spread out so they didn't keep each other up all night! The ranch hosts were so friendly and hospitable. They stopped by upon our arrival to orient us to the property and made great suggestions for dining in town. At 5:00pm every day, the kids got to go and feed the goats, they even got to walk them on a leash. That was definitely a highlight! The property was very private and the hosts gave us complete privacy. They let us know that they were around if we needed anything, but they left us to do what we pleased! This property is pretty remote, but such easy access to town. Though we are from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, it felt like we were worlds away. It was just the "staycation" we all needed for the holiday weekend! We would definitely recommend this property and we plan to go back again! Be sure to check out Fossil Rim when you are there!

Remote, restful respite with many opportunities for kids and nature lovers. Clean and beautiful!
The vacation was a relaxing and educational experience for the city dwellers that we are. Being a family of 12 including both very young (a 2 year old) and seniors (70 and 80 years of age), we were not sure all would be able to find interesting things to enjoy. We were soon relieved of that thought when we were met by Sandi, the intelligent and well-versed-in-the-property proprietor. She spoke with us upon arrival, directed the children to follow safe behavior and walked us all through the home. The home was accommodating and provided plenty of space for us all. The kitchen is the only eating area, but with a small folding table that we brought and the chairs for the 4-10 year olds, we were all seated well for meals. Also, the huge covered front porch provides a large eating area for everyone when the weather is not too warm. The well-stocked kitchen made meals easy to prepare along with our favorite items brought from home.
The seniors loved the gorgeous serenity of the front porch and the outdoors with a place for a campfire, plenty of shade provided by the numerous trees and a beautiful pond, all seen from the porch. The parents and the 6 children left on many occasions to visit the prepared, abundantly hilly and forested trails outlined for us at arrival. When the grandchildren left to go exploring with their parents, the seniors eagerly enjoyed the beauty of nature surrounding the house and a quiet respite from the much loved Kiddos. We appreciated the quiet almost as much as hearing from the little ones when they came back to share their adventures.
If the great outdoors with all its interest, quiet and beauty is what you want, this is the place for you. Critter sightings and feeding the nearby goats was a favorite for us all. Be prepared to be without television and land line phones....which may have been the best treat of all!! Believe it or not, the lack of so much busy-ness was just what we all needed. The choices of things to do may be somewhat limited, but that turned out to be the most unexpected, yet excellent part of our 4th of July get-away at High Hope Ranch. Our family was restored and we all hope to return again.
This was such a nice place, very peaceful, and beautiful. The staff went out of their way to be compassionate, kind, and helpful. I cannot be more happy with our experience.
This was the first opportunity since COVID for us to get together with a few other families that we see yearly. It was a great place to stay and it had room for all of us. There was many thing we were able to do on the property (hiking, feeding the goats) and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around in the fresh air. We were also only 15 to 20 minutes away from many attractions (Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Paluxy Heritage Park, Big Rocks Park) and eating (Loco Coyote, Hammonds BBQ). It was a lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer.
The Habari house with 5 bedrooms was perfect for our 3 families. We enjoyed the beautiful country setting by sitting out on the porch and having a fire in the fire pit for our smores. Jeff was very thoughtful for stopping by to ask our grandson to ride down with him to feed the cows. A great stay for us!
Our stay was great....Only minus was the listing stated there was a hot tub at the property....just understand there are 3 houses on this property and only 1 of them has a hot tub. The listing isn't clear on this matter.
It was a fun and relaxing getaway for our family of 7. The land, house and location helped us foster our family's love of nature. The front porch was perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The view was beautiful.
We went a few hikes around the property. Our children favorite things about staying at the house were the interesting rooms and feeding the goats and Zoey the donkey. We hope to come back again some day.
This is now one of our favorite places!! The property manager was super nice and knowledgeable! We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the property
This is a great ranch, one of my favorite places in Texas! Really amazing! This was our second time here and we plan to come back again. We enjoyed the nice views, hiking, bird watching, or just sitting on the porch. Kids loved to feed the goats and the cave! The property manager, Sandy, is a very nice person and gave us lots of information. We were lucky that we could even participate in a yoga class on one morning . Habari house was perfect for 2 families!
The house has a very "homey" comfortable vibe in a somewhat remote peaceful setting. Was perfect for a group of friends or family enjoying downtime, sitting on the porch and watching the deer, fishing in one of the ponds or hiking and running on trails around the property.
Our multi-generational family gathering found pure peace and joy at High Hope Ranch. Thank you for welcoming us and for sharing the ranch and all of its natural wonder!

Family (Texas Safari) Vacation at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center
The house was spacious enough for the 5 family units we had. The house is fully equipped and all you need is food! We will definitely be back to make more wonderful family memories.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, nice kitchen and grill
The house was perfect for our extended family. The house was very clean and my 85 year old parents slept well. The ranch is quiet and a great place to relax. We played games, went to fossil rim and feed a giraffe, horseback riding, so many great activities in the area. We will come back again. The people at the ranch made us feel like part of the family.
