Let me start by saying I have only left neg rating twice in 20 yrs. We checked in friday at 4 and was surprise at how cold the house was, butt was hungry, so unloaded and went to eat. Came back, sat down to watch tv and my wife is freezing, so I went to turn up the thermometer. The directions on the therm said "please leave 68-72 degrees only or AC will freeze. Thank you". I wanted to turn it up to 75, but then thought their is an issue with the hvac and if I turn it up,maybe something not good will happen, so I went to open the windows, but no screens in the windows. Sat down to watch tv and had to reset the router a couple times to get the tv & internet to work,,,,,frustrated now. Sitting tat the kitchen table, looked down at the return floor grill and its nasty dirty. Ok, this is not vaca fun. Tried calling Kandice, no answer, so I message her. Looking at my wife unhappy and cold on the couch, we loaded up and checked out. We stayed there 4 hrs. Kandice later emailed and said to turn the heat on...really? I asked for back and she said nope. I paid 515 for a 4 hr stay. She could have refunded half and attempted to be fair, even though this was her fault as I followed her instructions. This was a bummer, the house was a pretty nice clean little house. Hopefully she gets the hvac fixed and changes the thermostat to read dont turn below 68 degrees as that would have solved the problem. By not offering any sort of refund, Kandice comes across as greedy and no exceptions.
