This charming three-bedroom Cape Cod cottage with deeded beach access is perched atop a bluff on Wellfleet's bayside. Enjoy a glass of wine and fresh Wellfleet oysters on the screened-in porch with treetop views of Wellfleet Harbor.

Enter a comfortable living room with cable television, WiFi and decorative fireplace (not for use). There is nicely-equipped eat-in kitchen. The cottage has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full (double) bed and the other two bedrooms each have two twin beds. There is a full bathroom with authentic clawfoot tub. An auxiliary room off the kitchen has a stall shower and stacked washer and dryer.

The living room and all three bedrooms have ceiling fans. One window air conditioning unit in the yellow twin bedroom only.

Relax and unwind on the screened-in porch--a wonderful spot for your morning coffee, a good book or some fresh Cape Cod seafood. Mature plantings and flowers brighten the natural landscape. Cook up dinner on the charcoal grill and enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower.

Deeded beach access on Wellfleet Harbor is via a path just across the street. Enjoy sunbathing, swimming, kayaking, beachcombing, amazing sunsets and watching the boats glide in and out of the harbor. Tide permitting, follow the path along the shore to Uncle Tim's Bridge and walk to Wellfleet center and harbor for galleries, restaurants and shops. Short drive to town center, Wellfleet's ocean beaches and freshwater ponds, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, live entertainment, Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and Cape Cod National Seashore sites, trails and beaches.

Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover.

weeklong stay August 2023

My family and I stayed here for a week in August 23. Overall, we enjoyed the property, especially the front porch. It is in a great quiet location just a short walk down the hill to the beach and a short drive into Wellfleet center. The kitchen is well stocked with the tools you will need for a long stay. Water pressure in the shower is great. Newer washer and dryer. Only one room with an AC but there are a lot of fans. You can walk from the house to town center at low tide. Beach chairs come with the house. Lots of movies and books for rainy days. I grilled burgers on the charcoal grill whilst drinking a beer overlooking the hillside, it was nice. Disclaimer: If you do not like clutter, small spaces, stairs, and/or you have a tendency to bump into things, this is not the place for you. If none of these apply to you, I think you will have a great time.

Simple cottage by the harbor

We enjoyed this charming, simple cottage, and spent most of our time on the screened front porch with refreshing breezes and a view of the water. We also appreciated the easy access to downtown Wellfleet and all that it offers. While the beach access is very close and was enjoyed for walks and sunset viewing, swimming needed to be accessed at nearby beaches. There were some amenities that we needed to collect upon arrival and the washer was not working during our stay, but hopefully will be in working order soon.

Not worth the location

We rented because this place seemed to have all of our must haves: close to Marconi or head of the meadow, outdoor shower, options for sleeping arrangements, screened in porch and eat in kitchen. The problem was that all of these things were seriously lacking.. the outdoor shower is on the front of the house near the road with curtains for coverage (or lack thereof), the house itself was so cluttered with furniture and knickknacks that when more than two people were in any of the living spaces it was claustrophobic, the washer/dryer didn’t work (which made traveling with an infant difficult) AND the cleaners showed up 25 minutes after our scheduled arrival time. A deep clean/organization and an open line of communication for when appliances that are promised are not provided or cleaning would be delayed is necessary for this house to be appropriate for anyone to rent.

Lovely stay

The house was charming and well located close to town and the water. We loved walking to town! I appreciated that the kitchen was so well equipped, and the floor layout of the whole house was very comfortable - all rooms centered on the living room. We are looking forward to returning next year!! Thank you.....
