Amazing location and great value for money. Cute and funky and with a rare terrace right on a lovely park. A nice place to call home for your CDMX visit :)

The building staff , location, size/ layout, and balcony were all 10/10. However the apartment lost power 3 times which was very frustrating, and you could not use the kitchen without tripping the breaker. The toilet also was nonfunctional for a day. Management seems disorganized and the apartment was without basic amenities like trash bags and sponges
Awful check in, a few quirks, wonderful stay! The good- The apartment was in a perfect neighborhood and was extremely clean. It had a lovely little bench for sitting on the balcony and having morning coffee. Everything you need is within walking distance. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was as stocked as we needed for our stay. The property manager(s) were very quick to reply and Maria at the security desk was the absolute best. I would definitely stay here again! The bad-After 12 hours of travel we arrived to the apartment and a resident of the building had to talk to the security guy to let us in the building, and there was no key in the lockbox to the front door downstairs so we couldn’t leave to get dinner (we were starving). The mgmt team got the key there around an hour after we arrived at the apartment. We also weren’t given all the instruction needed to use the key pad but I figured it out eventually. After asking for a partial refund for the inconvenience they settled on a 10% discount for a future stay. The front door alarm kept going off for no reason when we would open the door which was loud and I felt really bad for the neighbors! Also they didn’t give us much TP (we had to buy our own) and we almost ran out of paper towels. All of that said, it was a lovely experience aside from the check in and a few quirks here and there and the weird door alarm. If you book a stay here you won’t be disappointed! Would stay here again.

I dislike having to leave a negative review, but in this case I would feel guilty if I didn’t. First the good: this apartment is in a sweet location in Roma Norte in an historic building. It is quaint, charming, and has a 24 hr/day security guard. We were never worried about our safety. The apartment was clean, in all places where possible to clean - for example, it is impossible to clean a bathroom vanity that has absorbed enough moisture to swell and delaminate.
The bad is quite bad: the property manager withheld the security code from me, though I had paid in full weeks ago. After completing third party verification (pretty standard a this kind of place) he demanded that I complete “financial verification.” He informed me via the Expedia messaging app that he wanted me to send a selfie of me holding my credit card…to a WhatsApp number…in Peru. Of course, that is insane, so I refused. He then demanded I send proof that I had paid in full. I offered to forward the receipt email to him (though this is also insane.) He agreed to that, but sent gibberish email addresses to contact him. At this point- nearly midnight- I booked another lodging via Expedia for my exhausted family of four. At 1am, after submitting no additional information, the property manager finally relinquished the codes. This was just the first day, and we had already exchanged 40+ messages.
When we got to the apartment, the next day , the lockbox code worked, but there was no key in it (the manager sugge
