About the host
Hosted by Vern Herrman

Our family is from the Liebenthal area. We love being able to share this historic home with the public.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is very quiet with hardly any neighbors close by. You have a 1 acre lot to run and play or relax by the picnic area. There are shade trees to sit under as well.
What makes this property unique
This home is very unique because it was the first house built in Liebenthal in 1886. The old chimney still runs up through the middle of the home. We tried to maintain the old world charm while giving you the amenities you would want. The limestone walls are actually 22" thick and show very little wear after well over a century. For a little home, it is very spacious and a lot of kids were raised in it! It is a very cozy place to spend a weekend getaway or a week long vacation. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy having you!
