L’Alize: Private in West Bay, Perfect for 2 or 10, Pool, Kayaks, Ping-pong, quiet beach and extras. We think the house is best enjoyed with a full week reservation. If you cannot make a 7 day reservation, please contact us to see if we can accommodate this request.
L’alize, vacation rental provides spacious vacation accommodations. The home is carefully furnished keeping in mind the details guests want to find in their vacation home. A relaxing view is available from almost every location. A private pool overlooks the Caribbean, and a carefully designed path to a private cove beach extends beyond the pool . The snorkeling off our keyhole is as beautiful as any on the island. Snorkeling in West Bay Beach is also beautiful but more tame and just a few minutes away. Guests will find a well-stocked kitchen with potable water from the faucet, as well as extra bottled water in a dispenser. An outdoor kitchen can be used for outdoor grilling. There are bath towels and beach towels in each comfortable bathroom. We offer our guests 2-3 days of Housekeeping at your time and convenience. Our internet speed, is maximized with 4 routers. Internet is important and we try to maintain the best internet available but power outages can occur for short periods. It is a part of island life. Our home can comfortably support 2 or 10 guests. In 2023 we added a large generator, able to power the entire house.

While convenient to the most popular beaches and activities on Roatan, (only a mile from West Bay Beach), L’Alize is irresistibly private.  The unspoiled beauty of jungle flora and fauna greet you each day as you look over the iron shore. Iguana, Aguti and many birds share our piece of the South Shore. West Bay Beach, rated one of the top beaches in the world, is only minutes away and plays host to  great restaurants and  exciting beach activities. Yet at the end of your day, L'Alize is a peaceful oasis  where the evening breezes pick up and jungle animals sing their evening songs as you unwind from the day.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful stay!!! It was more than we expected! The host was great, the special home cooked dinner fed us for two days, and any little problem we had was fixed within hours. The location with its own little beach was great for snorkeling and kayaking from. It was a quick drive to West End and other places. if you wanted to swim/eat someplace else, but so peaceful back at the house. The home had everything we needed for our little family reunion, and everyone, and I mean everyone said how perfect it was. The only thing to plan around is when the cruise line ships dock, and the sites/roadways get really busy. But back at the house, hardly anyone around.

Great Vacation

We stayed at L'alize for our spring break with a party of 9 including kids, teenagers and adults. We loved our stay, especially the little cove and beach where we had some of the best snorkeling of the trip. Edier was a great driver and Mirna cooked us a few delicious meals. All in all a perfect spot for a week of fun.

Amazing

This house was everything we needed. We enjoyed the close walk to the private cove, the pool, proximity to West Bay/West End, Mirna’s cooking and Edier’s hospitality and driving. They helped us with everything we needed, at any time. The snorkeling off the private cove was great! We felt safe. It was clean. Plenty of room! We were 2 families with 5 kids! Edier is worth every penny. We would love to come back!

Great time had by all

Was a tremendous vacation. A couple of hiccups that were taken care of immediately on notifying management. A great experience for all. Food was delicious we had prepared for us. Beautiful property in a great location. Car suggested to explore island. We had a blast touring and exploring. Will be back.

Great house for family and friends

We had a group of 4 couples that stayed for a week. The house was set up perfectly for us with plenty of room. Eddie and Mirna were friendly, accommodating, and on time whenever we needed them. Eddie showed us the island and Mirna cooking was fantastic. We highly recommend this house and amenities. Hope to be back.

Loveliest setting anyone can imagine

Rosanne's exquisite home could be a dump and the view/setting/landscape would still surpass any setting imaginable. The home was lovely, though, and Tish, Rosanne and Eddie tried to meet any need that we had while on the island. We visited much of the islands' offerings but found it so relaxing just to stay at L'Alize. Any group/family would be fortunate to spend a week in this remarkable home and setting.

Beautiful views

The location of the property was amazing! It was close to everything! There was a shared beach with a couple of other properties where you could see the cruise lines pass through, the views also breath taking! There was a small amount of trash on the beach but nothing major. We enjoyed our stay and had the most relaxing time. I highly recommend getting a driver and having him take you around town, the drivers are bit reckless there.

Good house for large groups

We enjoyed our stay at L'alize very much. The rooms are very spread out, giving everyone privacy. There are a lot of stairs but this layout gives each floor access to views and breezes. Eddie was our gracious driver and took us on several excursions and trips back and forth into town. This enabled us to customize our trip to our needs and limited the need for private guides. We enjoyed the keyhole beach and were able to snorkel there on calm days, great reef right at home!

Adventure in Roatan

We had a wonderful stay here. The view from the back deck was stunning and a great place to have coffee in the morning with our friends. Everyday we saw macaws flying by the house. It was a great mix of jungle and sea right close to town. Mirna cooked for us and did an excellent job. Having Edier take us around the island to various places made things much easier for transportation. We plan on coming back next for another adventure.

Accommodation set up great for larger groups Host responsive Driver very accommodating but need to use translator to communicate if you can’t speak Spanish Their onsite meal prep person prepared an excellent Honduran meal for us Beautiful cove area that we were able to snorkel from one day-the other days were too windy making it unsafe Probably have a quick check of the place before new guests arrive-there we’re used towels left in one of the showers and maybe spray or set up some traps for the unwelcome guests.

Beautiful and breathtaking

This property has amaizing views. The Garden and nature was breathtaking. They could use some new pans, some nonstick stuff. We had bad weather and beach was rough, but still beautiful to sit by keyhole. Edier and family will be the cherry to your vacation, so worth to rent the transportation. Thanks again for an unforgetable vacation.

Great house with private beach

L'alize is as advertised with it's own pool and private beach. *Note there is new construction on the adjacent lot and the private beach will become shared in the near future. It was the perfect getaway for our small group. The house is located close enough to West Bay that it's only a short 5 minute drive but at the same time it's isolated from the tourist crowds. I strongly recommend hiring Edier for your stay, during our week he drove us wherever and whenever we needed including some 5 AM runs to fish.

Beautiful Stay

We had a beautiful stay at L’Alize! The views are breathtaking! We saw lots of wildlife. We snorkeled as a family right from the keyhole and had a wonderful time. Location is great, very close to West End and West Bay. We hired Eddie as our driver and he was always available and provided us with excellent suggestions. We toured the mangroves with Eddie as well and it was a great day. Mirna cooked for us, brunches as requested, and her food was great. It was a bonus to have her clean for us two days, everything was neat and refreshed. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay again.

Great secluded house with private cove!

We had a fantastic time at L'alize. The house is quiet, secluded and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The pool is nice and cool and the private cove is definitely a treat. The host and supporting staff are top notch! It's worth it (and cheaper) to have Edier be your driver. We also had Mirna cook us a couple of dinners including some tuna we caught on one of our fishing excursions. Lisa gave us a warm welcome onto the property as well as provide many recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to book this house again!

This house is better than pictures!

There are no words to describe the wonderful time I spent at L'Alize! I rented the house with 9 of my friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was gorgeous, clean, great location, and the staff was great. We undoubtedly took advantage of the pool and water loungers. Definitely enjoyed the home cooked meal that was offered. The food was delicious. We also opted to rent the van and driver. Edier was super sweet, and always on time. The owner, Rosanne, was nice, helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this home to others.

Roatan Wedding

What an amazing and beautiful place. My family and I came for a wedding, stayed at L'alize and were impressed with the property and surroundings. Eddie, our driver such a nice and punctual person, 10 minutes for pick up, he was not kidding. Mirna his wife cooked the most delicious breakfasts . Both always on time. Great place to stay with family. The private beach was a nice and relaxing place to be. If you want a nice quiet place away from the husstle and bustle with beautiful views, this is the place for you. And if you want to go and see the town, Eddie will drive you anywhere you want. My family and I had an amazing time. We will certainly be back.

Fabulous vacation

L'alize is a beautiful place to vacation. Our family of 7 visited and the property had something for everyone. Our ages range from 78 to 20. The house and property are gorgeous, the keyhole beach area was my personal favorite. We snorkeled daily and saw so many beautiful fish. The pool was a wonderful size to cool off. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the 3 days that Mirna cooked for us. Edier is the best driver and the nicest person. He was gracious enough to let me practice my limited Spanish with him during our drives. Roatan is a wonderful place to visit and L'alize is in a perfect location within a couple of miles of both West End and West Bay.

The owners live on the mainland of Honduras and work at Loma de Luz Hospital, a non profit Christian Charitable organization. The home is used by the owners and coworkers to get away from the riggors of providing health care in an underserved remote location on the North shore of Honduras.
The owners update and use the home regularly so that it is comfortably furnished and maintained with all the necessary amenities guests might need.

A true getaway. Nestled in dramatic untamed beauty on pristine turquoise shores with abundant wildlife, makes this home a refuge as well as a great place to celebrate family gatherings. Restaurants, and grocery stores are only minutes away.

L'Alizé has all the modern conveniences of home with amazing privacy.. The view from the second floor great room took our breath away the first time since.. We never get used to the beauty.
