• Main Cabin: 4 comfortable bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.
• Bunkhouse: 4 queen beds, a kitchenette, and a full bathroom—perfect for larger groups or families.
Enjoy meals together with both indoor and outdoor dining areas, relax on the wraparound deck, and soak in the private hot tub under the stars.
Pine Lodge has been part of our family since 1941. Built in 1935 by Thomas Carroll on land granted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, it blends historic charm with modern comfort.

Why they chose this property
Joey's family goes back several generation in Custer, SD. The Black Hills have been very special to our family, and we have enjoyed updating this property to accommodate guests as well.
What makes this property unique
Pine Lodge not only has the main cabin, but also a bunk house within feet of the cabin. The property spans over 7 acres. Pine Lodge is located right off of the Mickelson Trail, a paved/gravel trail that spans over 109 miles in South Dakota. Pine Lodge is located just 2 minutes from the entrance of Custer State Park, and an easy drive to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorial.
