Escape to a peaceful historic retreat in the wooded hills of Temecula. The Gallery at Gemini Moon Ranch is a spacious, private guest accommodation that sleeps up to 8, surrounded by more than five acres of ancient oak trees, walking trails and unique historic architecture.
Just 15 minutes from Old Town Temecula and approximately 30 minutes from Temecula Wine Country, the ranch offers the best of both worlds — a quiet nature getaway with restaurants, wineries, shopping and local attractions within an easy drive.
Known as “The Gallery,” the space was named by the ranch's original owner and builder, artist and architect Robert Morris, whose distinctive work can still be seen throughout Old Town Temecula.
THE GALLERY
The private, ground-level guest space includes:
• Queen bed • Large twin bunk bed • Two full-size sleeper sofas • Private bathroom with large soaking tub • Kitchenette with microwave, sink and compact refrigerator • Coffee-making essentials • Wi-Fi • Free on-site parking
With multiple sleeping areas, The Gallery is a great choice for families, groups of friends, wedding guests, wine-country weekends and longer Temecula stays.
MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP
Guests can enjoy the ranch's beautiful shared outdoor spaces, including an outdoor kitchen with grill, smoker and gas burners, decks and porches, fire pits, outdoor seating areas and walking trails beneath the oaks.
The seasonal creek and natural landscape make the property feel wonderfully removed from town, even though Old Town Temecula is only about 15 minutes away.
Spend the morning with coffee under the trees, explore Temecula during the day, then return to the ranch for a quiet evening under the stars.
A HISTORIC TEMECULA GETAWAY
Gemini Moon Ranch isn't a typical suburban vacation rental. The property was created by Robert Morris, the artist-builder known for his distinctive architecture and design throughout Old Town Temecula. The ranch was his home, and many of his original structures, artistic details and repurposed materials remain throughout the property today.
Guests who enjoy historic homes, rustic architecture, nature, photography and unusual places to stay will find plenty to discover here.
CLOSE TO THE BEST OF TEMECULA
• Old Town Temecula — approximately 15 minutes • Temecula Wine Country & wineries — approximately 30 minutes • Restaurants, shopping & live music • Hot-air ballooning • Horseback riding • Hiking & golf • Wedding venues and wineries throughout the Temecula Valley • San Diego International Airport — approximately 1 hour • Los Angeles International Airport — approximately 2 hours
GOOD TO KNOW
The owners live in a separate upstairs residence. The Gallery is a private guest accommodation on the ground level. Guests also share access to designated outdoor areas of the ranch.
Events, parties, photography and filming are not included with an overnight reservation and require prior approval. Additional fees and/or a separate agreement may apply.
Private yoga, meditation and sound-bath experiences may also be available by arrangement.
Whether you're visiting for a Temecula wine-country weekend, wedding, family getaway or simply a few quiet days in nature, The Gallery offers something increasingly hard to find — space to slow down, unplug and enjoy a truly unique piece of Temecula history.

We love that we were greeted by the host and given a personal tour not only about the property amenities, but all the intricate details and design work that tie into local Temecula. This day was everything we had hoped to unplug unwind and enjoy nature with our children.
The host and property was extremely great.
We had so much fun and I recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and historical place to stay.
Really unique place close to Temecula. Fantastic for casual group gatherings - BBQ, fire pits etc. Super friendly owners that were very helpful. We all loved the cats and dogs.
Absolutely one of the most magical properties I have ever stayed at. Incredible details everywhere you look. The furnishing and style fit the property perfectly. And the hosts were equally as special. Looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

What a treat! Kelly and her friends were wonderful guests! Kelly was great at communicating, they were very respectful of our property. We had a fun fire pit with them one night and enjoyed sharing the magical areas around the property with them, along the creek, in the woods and the yoga shala. Looking forward to hosting you ladies for your next birthday celebration!
Absolutely Magical!!!! Words can not express how lovely everything was. From the initial contact with Tracy, to being able to visit the property before our stay, to the actual stay, to even our departure. This place is definitely a Diamond in the rough!

AHHHHH.... where to start and how to finish a review about a place that is simply TOO MAGICAL to even describe!? Our family of 4 (son, 15 and daughter, 18) booked the Gemini Moon Ranch over Spring Break for 3 nights. Our hosts, Tracy and Pete, are just beyond lovely. The entire property is sprinkled with incredible elements that take you on a journey through time and fancy. There is a dreamy bubbling creek w lots of areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings.... including several swing chairs. Resident pets are chill and comforting. Wood and s'mores are provided for evening fires. Great communal spaces exist as well as privacy if one chooses. The rooms are soooooo cool and very cozy. Don't even consider another place if this one speaks to you as it cannot be duplicated. And it is truly a sacred place..... what a gift to have such an opportunity. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! We rarely if ever repeat a stay but we are already looking forward to returning!

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful words—it truly means the world to us. We’re so happy your family felt the magic of the ranch and were able to slow down, explore, and enjoy those special moments together.
Gemini Moon Ranch is designed to be both a peaceful retreat and a place of discovery—whether that’s time by the creek, cozy evenings by the fire, or simply unplugging and soaking in the surroundings. We aim to strike that balance of being available when needed while giving you the space to fully settle in and make it your own.
To our wonderful guests who shared this review—we would absolutely love to host you again anytime. It would be such a joy to welcome you back to the ranch 🌙
About the host
Hosted by Tracy Finch
Peter and I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and around the world, and eventually chose Temecula as home. We fell in love with Gemini Moon Ranch the moment we discovered it and have become passionate about preserving its history and sharing it with others. We love welcoming guests who appreciate nature, history, creativity and places that are a little outside the ordinary. We live on the property, so we're nearby if you need us, while giving you plenty of privacy to enjoy the ranch on your own.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with De Luz because it feels worlds away while still being just minutes from Temecula. The winding country roads lead through rolling hills, oak trees and quiet rural properties before arriving at the ranch. Here, mornings are peaceful, nights are dark enough to see the stars, and there's room to slow down and breathe. Wander beneath the ancient oaks, explore the ranch's hidden architectural surprises or relax near the seasonal creek. Then, when you're ready to venture out, Old Town Temecula, Wine Country, restaurants and local attractions are just a short drive away.
What makes this property unique
Gemini Moon Ranch is a true hidden gem in the hills above Temecula. Artist-builder Robert Morris, known for his distinctive work throughout Old Town Temecula, designed and built the ranch as his own home. Throughout the property you'll discover reclaimed materials, vintage architectural pieces, handcrafted details and wonderfully unexpected touches collected from historic buildings across the West. Set beneath ancient oaks on more than five peaceful acres, the ranch feels like stepping into another time. We are still discovering stories behind the materials and hidden details Robert incorporated throughout the property—which makes sharing this special place with guests even more fun.
