This elegant Riad can accommodate up to 14 guests with 5 luxurious guest suites. At it’s heart is an impressive cloistered patio with dipping pool. The roof terrace is one of the most remarkable in Marrakech with views across the rooftops of the Medina to the Atlas mountains. Whether it’s a special occasion, a relaxed family holiday or a last minute get-away with friends exclusive use of a whole Riad is a fantastic way to enjoy Marrakech. Our accommodation is so flexible we can offer any combination of romantic doubles, fun and practical family rooms or luxurious twins and triples. When required we can equip a whole Riad with single beds providing ideal accommodation for yoga groups, dance holidays, or a girls weekend. The highlight of any group booking will be a banquet in the Riad, delicious food in a friendly relaxed atmosphere whether you dine by the pool or in a Berber tent on the roof terrace.

An Enchanting Oasis

Riad Cinnamon is a wonderfully enchanting oasis in the middle of Marrakech. Things began well when the manager and another staff member met us and guided us to the Riad and had a cart for our luggage. They led us through the winding streets of the souks and down a side alley. We all were wondering what came next, and upon opening the door we were delighted with the answer to that query. Inside the Riad we found a quiet island of calm with a lovely inner courtyard and well appointed rooms. The rooms were very clean and had candles and other little touches that made the place even more magical. The rooftop has a sitting area and the first night we sat with the manager and he took the time to tell us a bit about the area and ask us how he could make our stay more comfortable. They helped us to arrange a carriage tour and suggested local places to visit. The Riad Cinnamon staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Our three children (ages 15, 12 and 9) were all made to feel just as welcome, something that is not always the case when you travel with children. The manager made us all feel as if we had made a friend in Marrakech. Breakfasts were yummy and there were even age appropriate movies for them to watch when they needed a break from the active days. We were so impressed. I cannot think of any other place I would want to stay when visiting Marrakech. The location is ideal as you are in the heart of the city. The accommodations are luxurious and well appointed. The staff is helpful and kind and will do all they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They made sure that we got to our destination and even gave us a cel phone in case we got lost. It was the attention to detail that really set them apart. We highly recommend Riad Cinnamon. In fact, we hope to return!

Mike and Lucie Wood are the owners of this gem of a hotel-riad. Mikes Moroccan friend Mohammed introduced him to Marrakech 15 years ago and with his wife, Lucie, this is the second beautiful courtyard home they have renovate . The riad is a home from home and Lucie has added many little touches that make guests feel welcome and looked after such as providing a mobile phone for guests to use in case they get lost and need rescuing by the onsite staff! Mike and Lucie live on a smallholding in Hertfordshire when they are not in Marrakech.

Marrakech is the first place we ever visited which we could see ourselves coming back to indefinitely.

What makes this property unique

What really makes us special, and fantastic value for money, is the small team of dedicated staff in each of our Riads who will be on hand to help, reassure and advise throughout your stay. These perfect little boutique hotels each have just four or five guest rooms so we can provide a truly personal service.

It is the small things that count: complimentary toiletries; breakfast served at the time of your choice; delicious evening meals individually prepared to your taste and dietary requirements; WIFI; a complimentary map of the old town; help booking restaurants and excursions; nothing seems to be too much trouble. We are pleased offer the loan of a local pay-as-you-go mobile to stay in touch with your English speaking hosts while you are out exploring.
