Spacious but Disappointing Stay

Our family of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids) stayed at this VRBO. It had potential but fell short.The Good: Spacious rooms fit us comfortably. The decor was initially inviting, and the ping pong table in the hot garage was fun. The pool was the yard’s only usable feature. The kind property manager offered a free night, which we used for a late check-out. Great location near shops.The Bad: The yard was a mess—knee-high weeds and unmowed grass. The door PIN didn’t work, requiring a lockbox key. The 1960s house needs updates: broken doors, showers with chipping epoxy, and loose faucets. The pool was dirty, the grill was rusted (I rigged it with foil for 200 worth of ribeyes), and all outdoor lights, including the pool’s, were broken. A dead rabbit by the AC unit upset the kids.Overall: Size and location are great, but neglect ruins it. Not recommended until fixed.
