5 stars for the apt being a good size and location. Beds were large and comfortable and the space was generally inviting. Location was great, and for being in the city, it was pretty quiet. Interior of the unit was clean and well maintained. View was great on the roof terrace but only so so from the unit. Spacious rooms, three private bedrooms each with a full bathroom is a big winner ! The desk area was really useful. Loved the washer dryer too.3 stars for the deficiencies. It needs bedside tables and lamps or low lights. It sleeps eight but only had the minimum of bedding and towels for six. Our number eight had to sleep with just a throw blanket. There is no decorative art on the walls so the unit appears quite austere.The general maintenance of the building was lacking - the trash chute was out of order for several days leading to near constant foul odor in the apartment. And the pool water was green and closed - a bummer. This may not be something the unit operator can affect but it was unusable.Drawbacks included limited basic items to use (lack of cooking utensils, towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, only 2 coffee cups). Having only one key fob (entry to the building) was EXTREMELY inconvenient to families wanting to do different things during the day. Parking was unclear, and we were misinformed by the host about the situation leading to getting booted! It's been clarified since we arrived that there IS NO PARKING except the guest parking at 7/day which may not

The location of this rental was good, and it was clean. But basic comforts were lacking, the internet was so slow that we couldn't work on our computers or watch TV, and worst of all, we couldn't sleep. The bedrooms face a parking garage with bright fluorescent lights that shine all night, and there are inadequate bent metal blinds on the windows which allow this light to stream in at all hours. There are no bedside tables or lamps. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights and left after I believe that improved internet, some attention to detail, and black-out curtains on the windows would go a long way toward making this a much better experience.
