Why they chose this property
Please have an enjoyable and memorable stay. There are several well known restaurants in our neighborhood like Cafe & Macadamia just to the west, Soda La Macha in Los Piedras and El Corral BBQ restaurant in El Aguacate, all within 3-5 minutes drive. Turtle cove exit is also only 1.5 km away from the house to the east where there is a ramp and boat dock for on water activities. You can buy groceries from Nuevo Arenal and Tilaran. Both towns have shops and restaurants. Rio Celeste waterfall is about 49km north of the house. Cataratas Viento Fresco waterfall and La Piedra del Indio waterfall are about 32 km south of the house. Tabacon thermal Resort is 44 km away from the house to the east, people also can enjoy the hot springs freely in various areas outside the resort .
What makes this property unique
the Arenal volcano in the distance. The house is near the top center of the property and the main gate is in the bottom left hand corner from the perspective of the house. There is also a small casita in the right lower corner that is home to our grounds keeper. The property has a large lawn with fruit trees (mango, citrus, coconut) and many other types of plants of which many are flowering. Don't miss the orchids that grow on the palms. We still maintain the original brick driveway . The house has two floors. You must use the outside stairs to move between the second and first floor. The third bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor.
