Cabin was very clean inside, smelled slightly musty but I am sensitive to mold and others probably wouldn’t notice, opened windows and it was fine. Outside needs some paint but inside was great. Quick communication any time I contacted the host. You can fish off the dock though it might be better if you can launch a boat. Beautiful sunrise, and nice and quiet. Couldn’t ask for more. Would definitely come again.
Had plenty of hot water, beds wear comfortable, however didn't like the microfiber sheets as they are too hot and pillows were hard memory foam. Cabin was cute inside and met all of our needs. The cabin stayed warm wven though it was below zero outside. TV didn't work at first, owner came over and fixed it right away, so we appreciated that. We will definitely stay there again.
We were excited to find a very reasonably priced place to stay for a spontaneous trip to Lake of the Woods. When we arrived, there was a very strong musty smell that burned my nose and throat. It seemed like the building had some rotting or mold issues that were covered up by a fresh coat of paint. I messaged the owners to let them know we couldn’t stay there because of the fumes- especially since we had an infant with us, and received no reply. The place looks nice, but it definitely seems like a rotten building that had been given the landlord special.
